VERY VERY low drop rate once again

itll take about 90 kills for one

anyone seen this drop?

saw it the other day..didnt know what it was, so didnt care and left it there.. :P

What is the low QL on this? is it 35?

these look exactly like phase blades which drop often..r u sure it wasnt a phase blade? hehehe damn..if u left it..ugh...how depressing...hehe

as for the QL..only 1 sword of it's kind...QL is 1

nah.. i know it was this... i check all loot well..but me being a MA when i saw it made it useless to me

Just got one from Uklesh after 6 kills. Seems the drop rate is about the same as guardian tank armor ... maybe around 10%-15% chance. Crat + Mochams + lvl 99 pet = solo the entire dungeon...although easier to do with an engi and warbot. With crat, have to recast pet several times for Aztur, everything else is easy. =P

only seen this one drop once, and i've killed az 30+ times.. so funny.. first adv ninja styg from an enf... when we was taking him the 3's time enf ninja frozen tear from adv... man..

Sad thing is, you camp for 5-6-7 days... and you will of outgrown it by lvl 70, unless your a pvp twink, then it's pretty pimp

Done Uklesh too many times on my engi doing totw services, seen this drop but once, was getting a styg for an advy at the time so he ended up with tear and styg lol. And for the record i probably wouldn't take someone up on an offer of 10mil to get them one of these, its just too rare and too much hassle.
Like most totw drops its just not worth the camp time when u could be out leveling.

its IS worth it if youre gonna be a subway twink, i think you could jus about squeeze this on with ql 105-110 imps with no OE if youre a trox or soli. the Proc actually pwns about 150-300 damage when it lands and if you have 2, well then you're REALLY gonna tear up that subway =P

Has noone pointed out the obvious when everyone askes to buy one of these..

These rock, i have 1 on my advy, it does more base than the phase blade and it has an occasional nano attack for 400 cold damage, so you quite often do hits of 700 damage :) get two and some styg enfo's can get jealous. I'm going for my second but running outta time (lvl 56)

seen it drop once.. no one in the team wanted it so i think it prob ended up rotting, advy bores me but if i was one i would'nt camp it and settle for phase blades. oddly a lot of mp's are looking for this.. go figure

could it be twinked on lvl 24 doc ?

If you r fresh from subways,guess your NCU isn´t higher than 20.So you probably can´t.Maybe neither phase blade with smaller requirements lol

like gelids just a bit less dmg. dropprate doesnt seem rare when camping for book on my doc ive seen it drop 3 times.

i got this with 4 ppl in my team (team lvl 1) we just wanted to get me a holy book and this drops,first time over, then im like OMFG, WTF and there like WOAH. the end /clap :D so much for 8% drop rate

I've been trying to get these for a week now with my doc.. If it wasnt for Uklesh's mezzes I'd probably have two of em.. :/

did totw sevices for book killed uklesh 4 times 4 tear drop but no book =/

for some reason...i think your lying...the chances of four dropiing in a row is like finding a grid armor nano just lying around on the floor...

I agree. 2 months now trying to get them for my doc. I got one not log after my last post on this item. Now, 2 months later, countless Uklesh kills, and an XP pool large enough to fly my doc to 80 in less than 3 hours, STILL no second Tear... WTB Tear. >.>;

I am camping for 2 of these, i kill uklesh lots of time, i get book, and see 2 more of them, but never see tear... wish me luck ;-)

at lvl 60 is having 2 tears better or styg better for a doc?
i chkd dmg output, styg come out better but it doesnt not consider the off hand dmg and the xtra nano dmg...was wonderin which is better styg or tearx2

Tears are better, but if You are not pvp twink, then dont waste Your time to get them. In this time You can ding to 150 or so.

are these equally as good as the decent skulls in totw?

out damages styg, and with proc, does a lot, starts to suck at 100+, because min damage is too low, best to upgrade to gelids, or kyr'ozch axes, my 153 adv as bad damage on hecks with crispies.

this any good for a 25 trader twink?

not.. multi melee is not a good idea, i made a trader with stygian(lvl24),but its not to good

Have killed Uklesh countless times (always with team due to stuns) and gotten every rare drop (KV, ML, Inner Eye, Memory Loss Ring etc.) of totw before finding my second one :p

My drop rate report: started few months ago, first one dropped at about 10th kill (the 2nd time that I had 3rd member in the team, all the other times it was just my 60-twink and a 24-advy). The second one dropped after I had already stopped counting, but I had by then (today) collected 40 IS passes and 36 purifying rods (didn't collect the rods from Khalum for a while), so I'd guess about 30 more kills for the second one.

helped with my doc to get the styg for some low enf...and whoom found one, now im doomed to find the 2nd one.....hate it >.<

okay...now this is real cool, 10,5hours of chainkills later the 2nd drop ;D.......love it ^______^

finally made a mp totw twink so I can camp these for my twink myself lol...went out there first time to see if I could kill az almost didnt bring my twink but decided to...first kill drop lol...hope second one doesnt take to long not to hard to kill az though cept for all the noobs running up to him while your killing and getting and and dying, nice for a laugh to break the monotony

I have one on my enf but i have never even had it equipped :P

Imho these aren't worse the time camping. Especially for advys. I put mine some QL 90 SOL Fire Executioner and outdamaged deso enfies. Much more dmg than pbs and i think even more than these babies.

I've logged over 300 Uklesh kills and never seen a single one drop. Gave up.

got bored, logged my 60 keeper, went to totw for the first time in about four or so months, dropped on first kill...
all i could say was HOLY SHIT :P
never seen it drop in 3 years before that btw

looted two of these just last week. A twink was kinling uklsh and friends and didn't mind of the loot.
He killed it two times and it dropped two times (didn't knew it was a rare drop) trying to get them dual wielded on my Doc. This toon is so lucky! I went in TOTW and we killet GOT with team of 4 killed it 5 times and 3 GTA dropped incredible luck!
If you still think Frozen tear doesn't drop just tell my Doc "Phantoodoc" and i'll show you ;)

got one on my engi today... feels like a waste but better than letting it rot.

level 53 adventurer. Read about this weapon proceeded to kill and POW 1st shot. Damm Im lucky. Does close to double the damage as phase blade. Attack 120. 240(Uklesh weapon). phaseblade 70 uklesh 160. Tried killing him 6 more times with no luck. I plan on leaving Firewomen at 60 until I get 2nd one. It rocks and hits fast. Need help in TOTW RK2 send tell to Templebound-Stalkbroker or Firewomen- vitality one org.

hmm im commonly killing the aztur chain and what i noticed is that if u have none tear they almost drop 40% of the time and as soon i looted one i haven't seen any tears anymore on 15th uklesh now and still counting

But Ill give a try, that last comment is wrong I have a toon in there now, he has 2 on him, equipped, they were got on 3 kills.

Have a pair on my 24 Enfo, works great for pvm and ok enough in pvp to kill gimps.
Doc init debuffs are a massive pita though with the low speed.
Even with a ql 50 flurry and rage running they'll put you on - init.
And at 24 having 400 NR and 5% resist, the debuff will still land 100% :(

After some more testing, you can make Tears work in lowbie pvp if you can get them to 1/1 and have a lot of add damage.
Also you need to have enough AC's to make them hit you for min as they only need around 1k AC to put you on min.
And time is on your side. in the long run you will proc. You just need to hit a lot and drag the fight out enough to give the tears time.
And actually be able to kill them through w/e healing etc they may have before they kill you.
Hence needing to hit 1/1 and having add damage.
Unity of the Rose calculator says 450 init to hit 1/1 at full agg, Xyphos' site says 550.

I wanted the doc book for my 2 docs. Killed Azzy around 15 times. 3 doc books dropped (gave one away) and 3 tears of uklesh. So that is consistent with a drop rate of 15%, which is suggested elsewhere for the doc book.

Was running around totw killing stuff to find me a ring of weeping flesh, when i came into azzy's room some team killed him and they left. Then i noticed uklesh corpse behind the table so i wen't for a quick peak and a frozen tear was on him ^^ lucky xD

Nice.. I was killing exarchs with my lvl49 advy and a engi walks in with a slayerdroid. One minute and 3 corpses later I loot both Styg and Tear :)

these OD the neleb's rod in pvp for a few reasons:

1. easier to reach capped speed
2. nuking proc adds a bunch of extra damage
3. dual-wieldable, meaning more attacks per minute
4. higher minimum damage means it wont ever really hit poorly
5. 1he means you can use strength in the chest and left arm, meaning easier use of the ToTW shoulderpad actives (500 absorb, +50 add damage, 100% root/snare/stun resistance)

of course, the neleb rod has its perks too (able to swap it off for MA attacks, nano drain proc, better osb) but in terms of pure damage, the tears will win.

Got 2 today after killing the trio about 12 times with my engi.
