Useless :D forever broken skill
Snakebite @ 2005-04-15 03:40
Huh? Is this any use, or what?
What do you mean 'broken skill'?
wolfclaw @ 2005-05-12 21:03
Riposte and parry are "broken". That means that they don't work at all as described in the game. You only put IP in those skills if you have a weapon that requires it. The reason that they are broken are that they proved to be far too powerful for those that put much IP in them. FunCom appearently hasn't solved the problem yet.
Moniker @ 2005-07-08 16:15
well, if your a pvper, you could use this to boost riposte high enough to use an angel on night without having to waste as much ip on it.
Moniker @ 2005-07-08 16:15
of*
happypitbull @ 2005-07-17 22:53
used for twinking on a higher QL Flurry of Blows
kuba @ 2005-07-18 02:17
who uses angel of night in pvp? thats the most useless ma-attack ever. flurry requires fast attack, not riposte
Moniker @ 2005-08-01 15:18
i mean upon a wave of summer, angel of night is useless.
Volkanov @ 2005-10-05 19:12
I'd rather it added parry than riposte.
LeoMaster @ 2005-10-14 21:00
Couldn't agree more, :)
Comi @ 2006-01-14 21:01
Useless considering ncu cost. But if you really desperate to use a higher upon a wave of summer then ...
Shojumaru @ 2006-01-31 19:18
.... Half-assed nano. Only possible use it might have is casting on someone else who's twinking a type 880 blade.
Yetti @ 2006-02-27 15:48
Or casting on Shades, rapiers also req riposte. I guess as of now, its only good for buffing. Maybe LE will change that :o)
Yakobo66 @ 2006-06-10 16:58
ffs funcom fix these damn skills plz
Xaerro @ 2006-09-17 15:50
*reseting riposte skill* ... maxed it for a damn attack but now i dont need it... god...it sucks!
Jornado @ 2007-03-27 05:39
ya it sucks that fc nerfed riposte and parry - and so far their is no planned fix for it ever...but, anyone who remembers culties parrying in totw and completely pwning lowbies b/c of it is secretly happy :)
Hydrojen @ 2007-06-20 06:50
I used this til I looked at my riposte and found out I didn't even need this buff, just one point in Riposte for my UaWoS... this buff never lasted long :P
agpecko @ 2007-11-14 03:55
Cant say I've ever used Ripost before... whats it for exactly?
Yakobo66 @ 2007-11-15 15:32
doesnt work anymore, only used as a weapon equip on older weps now :d (i.e non-le)
Vgman @ 2007-12-11 19:18
Meh i'd use it, any thing to save ip.
Vgman @ 2008-02-09 23:14
I rolled and got this thing stuffed some ql 200 wrists imps on with riptose and got the best "upon a wave of summer" i could get my hands on, now for ~ ten seconds nt's cant thouch me. and no ip spent.
Ran-san @ 2008-02-20 10:50
Really there's only one serious reason to use this regularly. Twinking a better "Upon a Wave of Summer for deroots, etc." during PvP. Shame the duration is only half that of normal skill buffs, though.
lonewolf2k7 @ 2008-11-19 12:23
@Moniker

wave of summer IS NOt useless if the only MA spec that gives massive NR buffs for a short time is the only way we can kill agents , NT and traders and btw it gets rid of roots !!!

pyroathiest @ 2009-06-15 11:12
@ lonewolf2k7

Moniker never said that UAWOS is useless. He stated correctly that Angel of Night is useless. If you are going to post something as a response, at least read the original post so you don't showcase your idiocy for everyone.
Darketernal @ 2009-10-07 04:35
I'd prolly get it for my 220 MA if it had a decent duration and didnt have such a silly ncu cost
