HAHAHAHA. Owned.

oh. Constructive Feedback. Right.

Quest reward for the second part of the Dustbrigade questline.
Delightdevil @ 2008-09-24 13:22
OPed nano :(
pyroathiest @ 2008-09-27 09:26
Ridiculously overpowered. The 2 improved drains are almost enough to make even a level 220 player with 2400 AR go OE on a weapon.....
pyroathiest @ 2008-09-27 09:27
Also, the large difference between these 2 new nanos and the other drains are that in all the other drains, the drop in AR is only for npc mobs, this drains 325 points, so -325 AR, plus an extra 150, so a total of -475 AR per drain...
AKrulz @ 2008-09-30 17:28
:| trader was realy overpowered with nonimproved nanite....nerf
Vabla2 @ 2008-10-04 19:58
Nerf! With both drains soldier AR would drop to almost fixer level! OP!!!
Shareida @ 2008-10-20 01:57
Omg, the trader Finally drains something!! NERF!

Seems like noone of you ever met a trader before SL.
pyroathiest @ 2008-10-22 09:28
In SL, these may not be amazingly effective. In pvp, its another story...

Incorrect, the Nanite Enhanced ones also drain AAO.
pyroathiest @ 2008-11-10 10:06
Ah, true
Jaydavee @ 2008-12-03 15:54
everyone who wants to pvp or defend towers is going to have to make several traders toons at various levels with nanite drains to drain all the opposing draining traders. No sense in spending time on any other profession anymore.
Dilomax @ 2009-01-16 17:57
LoL luckily they still weak in zergs and cant drain 4 ppl at once so id say just gank the living shit outta them when you see em
MagicShock @ 2009-02-21 05:37
I totaly agree with Dilomax. Just be sure to have a doc in ur team when you do so. To get rid of the drains when the trader(s) is/are dead. But for the love of god PLEASE dont send ur doc in first. I speak from experience when I say we cant heal you once a trader gets us with the nonblockable-noncounterable-unremovable-painintheass-nanopool remover of a nano know simply as GTH. Or Grand Theft Humidity.
wirdow @ 2009-03-17 17:13
Well i guess its time to give MagicShock some good news GTH can be removed only thing is you have to buy the Virus Scaners with VPs :) Have a nice day.
Sithark @ 2009-04-01 12:23
do normal virus scaners from rk mishes also remove GTH?
Comi @ 2009-04-10 22:31
nop
gimpmasta @ 2009-04-29 03:17
@wirdow

You also have to be in BS to use said scanners, so if towers/duel you're still owned.

how much NR is reccomended against this ?

how much NR is reccomended against this ?

NR is borked atm so good luck with resisting - even if you do resist the odd cast you'll just be spammed until it does land.

Sorry to say but this and ransack (nanite improved) are ridiculously overpowered in PvP, sure Traders needed some loving but to give them the ability to own any profession by simply casting 2 nanos on them is just stupid (add in GTH/Corporate protection for extra ownage). And the arguments of "oh just gank the trader with 3-4 other people" is complete bollocks, NO profession should need 3-4 people in order to kill them.
Djeto @ 2009-09-06 18:01
Lol atleast traders life up to their description in the character create now. Making the opponent into a cracked shell of his former self. :p
charmo @ 2010-01-14 09:09
Yeah I agree, leave this nano be ^^, although a higher NR check could persuade them to land NR drains before this. It should be a battle where the trader in time will cripple you into oblivion but during that process he is vulnerable.
Dagger @ 2010-01-27 22:05
"NR is borked atm so good luck with resisting - even if you do resist the odd cast you'll just be spammed until it does land."

NR is broken? and good luck spamming something with 4 second recharge, it doesn't work that well.
Kuingar @ 2012-07-31 17:54
It does when Traders also get roots. Seriously, the entire profession would become normal if they didn't get roots.
Orochi @ 2012-08-15 21:25
If u cast this on urself, then use the new sitdown kits. It cancels only the negative effect of it. This way u can drainladder on urself.
