Another joke from FC in the 17.7 patch. Triple the requirements of greater nanobot shelter, and 500 more MM than ANY other used nano needs for what works out ~140 damage less per hit at best, like with 16k HP a NT will notice being hit for 140 damage less.
A joke.

hmmm if im reading it right, thats a 25% reflect...thats bad? much larger req, but so are all the nanos released at this time... its like ur own personal rrfe :/

Subwave @ 2008-07-16 10:50
hah.. to much requires for a level 215 NT? reroll or read this -> Cyberdeck & 6
25% absorb not reflect.. it awesome since can absorb even LE nukes

Shadowstrik3 @ 2008-08-24 17:30
If it works like the other 2, that 25% gets absorbed through your nanopool. So you do still take the dmg, just not on HP.

@ Dalek my 170 nt almost has the nano skills to cast this.....if you can't get those at 215 Subwave is right, reroll.

Did i say it was hard to get? No other nano -needed- that amount of MM, so why spend anywhere that much in it, and for 140 damage less per hit from a 16k capped hit over the old version...
If your 170 NT has nearly that much MM go back to twink school and learn how to not waste IP.

furay @ 2008-11-04 21:52
more efficent than the lesser versions
|
Whitey @ 2008-12-05 23:19
this is the nano that actually makes it impossible to cap anything on NT's right?
25% less than a capping hit, so in reality NT's only take 22.5% (instead of 30%) of their HP from a would-be capped hit. Here I was thinking NT's were glass cannons but turns out they have best defences ingame ...
titanium cannons ftw.

Binarybot @ 2009-02-13 18:17
Depends on the stacking order. I believe the % reduction occurs after the pvp half damage but before the damage cap (13k AS / 15k FA, etc), and the last check is the 30% cap. So it would be possible to be hit so hard that damage is moved to nano, and you still lose 30% hp. Would have to look at the actual stacking order to be 100% sure.
|
Binarybot @ 2009-03-29 06:37
Tested this, the whole line reduces damage after the pvp cap. The Greater Nanobot Shelter reduces a capped hit to 23.4% of your max hp. Any of the three will make it so it takes 5 hits to kill a NT instead of just 4 capped hits.

Take this, RRFE, Notum Shield from genome, maybe keeper reflect aura... Think someone lost the whole "glass cannon" part with the NTs somewhere along the way..

ROFL.. dude, if you have that much MM @ 170 YOU are the one that needs to re-roll.

mahdi007 @ 2009-11-20 23:40
Ahh, also worth mentioning with the static 10% dmg->nano in the new proposed perk lines it will take not 5, but 6 "30%" caps to take down a nanomage NT. This does not include they new and improved Notum Shield which would bring total POST-30% cap damage reduction to 60% for 20 seconds.. Making Nanomage NTs able to survive 8 (eight) - almost 9 - capped hits. Perk also heals nanopool for ~3k.
So a low-medium HP NM NT could take around 2 capped hits with static defense, perk notum shield (while still throwing nukes), and more than likely after 20 seconds throw up NBG if they haven't killed their target yet. GG

Darketernal @ 2010-02-24 06:20
Um NTs have more IP than I can shake a stick at so why not max MM if you want.
|
Bezalel @ 2010-11-17 15:38
So this nano does stack with reflect shields then. Why did I think it didn't :S

Doesn't stack with rrfe or those type of reflects.
