Now that AXP is affected by XP mods, I'm happy that the ring does in fact add XP.
It's not the main reason for using this ring though. It's overall a very nice ring. The defensive proc that is provided by this ring (http://aomainframe.com/showitem.aspx?AOID=267628) ain't too bad either.
