Running the math down on paper, it is impossible for a Nanomage Meta-Physicist to equip this bow at any stage in their career, even using QL300 supple in slots where it is applicable to use QL300 supple, the full personal research line, every other bow buffing item known to man.

Had we the toolset we should have, that for some reason is given to MA's, it could be done. Using MA only items, the continuation of the Ranger Perk Line, Power Puller, the MA self buff, it could be done. I get a final figure of 2237 bow on a Nanomage MP using the tools that exist in game but are unavailable to the profession.

for some reason FC clutches to the old ways, ma has never used the bow to the same extent as the mp's.. yet the mp always gets half.. left overs, it would be so easy to share the items/lines but seems to be to much for fc to handle.

get a Ql 275, that's 200 less in bow to equip, the same min damage as the Kyr'Ozch
a LOT more max damage and it's 0.2 faster which is nice aswell
..oh and 5m more range
just freaking stop thinking in top Qls already, it's a really decent upgrade

Yfo no matter what QL you use you still have the nasty range init to deal with.. which is fine if you reset or always used a kyr crosbow up till this point.. but most mp's that use bow are rasied on phy init bows not ranged.. which is a rarity on bows before the AI cross-bows.

you always look at the endgame weapon to see how it's gonna turn out.. it's call planing for the future.

its possible equip 300ql for nanobreed too, I will inform you gurlz ;) when finish with all that reperks and researches how to do it :)

Off the top of my head, the Meta Ofab chest piece adds 75 bow, and the Meta research lines adds at least another 100+. So might not be so impossible.

Is it possible for a nanomage mp without any org buffs like city, towers and contracts?

According to my (rough) calculations the only difference between an opi meta and a nanomage one is about 45 bow skill... so I assume if opi can do it, so can nanomage, although not eassily (somewhere around 1200 bow skill at lvl 220 with full perks/research - the rest would have to come from imps/items)

Yeah I know they do (*grumble*) but opis get very slightly more trickledown from base skills (about 45 at 220). Hence, since it's such a small difference, "if opis can do it, namomages can"

...Also apparently MK6 looks like a shovel. A /small/ shovel. The earlier ones are huge round metal things. And it turns into a tiny brown shovel. To be fair, all the MK6 weapons look crappy. But still. Blagh. A freaking shovel.

And crats and docs and engis have discovered it for pvp too...

Opi eng can equip ql 300.

id love to see the setup where a eng can get a ql 300 not saying its not possible would just want to see what is needed
