Really nice lewt.
Worth doing Bazzits quest to be able to get on a nice high one.
(Dont forget to untrain Alien Tech after...only need to perk to get it (and Viral Mem) on, dont need to keep that line perked after the item is equiped.
There are much better places to spend 3 AI perks :)

This is the main reason I did the Bazzit quest, agreed. This piece of hardware is simply way too good to pass up on, just as much as the Nano Controller Unit is a must have for those professions:

No, it indeed is not rare drop (though not common either). What makes it feel like rare is that you can not kill the mob 10+ times an hour, but takes like 30 minutes of work to get one mob to kill. And another 90 minutes to wait to try another time. (Unless you grind in multiple cities and/or do the ship, too).
