Some thinks it's there to strengthen the immunity system of the Saltworm, while others argue that the salt is only there to make food taste better - as the Saltworm's taste buds are located inside the stomach.

The Saltworms are found in Broken Shores in the north.

There is a lvl 190 dyna in PW just E of Hope. The mobs around the dyna drops that item too
