Item Database - Predator Armband

Predator Armband Icon #41176 This armband is ideal to protect your arm against physical attacks, while at the same time beeing very light weight and elastic.
The garment is marked with the letters 'SoN', which so far have eluded any credible interpredation. The armor was first reported seen during the summer of 29477's string of underground Jobe parties. Once a full suit was obtained for scientific scrutiny it became clear that the clothing's origins can be traced to the Monopolis location of the Shadowlands time continuum. This has lead some to believe that SoN was history's very first fashion lable.

Yunkie @ 2005-11-08 21:39
yea nice for evade profs lvl 50-110
Faynt @ 2005-11-09 00:31
why does this cost liek 5-6times as much to buy as the other pieces of predator armor?
Yunkie @ 2005-11-19 17:54
does it?
angryphase @ 2005-11-25 16:19
Droprate on sleeves and facemask seem to be lower than other items, at least from my experience. That would explain the upped price compared to say the body or legs.
Hugeframe @ 2006-01-28 13:51
I dont get it .. why is the armor so expensive? its not like its rare :P
oh, it takes time to get? *pfft* whatever -_-
Engelen @ 2006-05-30 20:56
It is expensive becouse it is good. =P Best armor before lvl 100 or so. By a far, for all proffessions. (Except Alien Armor, wich is far more expencive and pretty useless on that low lvls!)
Spartan_059 @ 2006-08-02 20:16
so why does this cost 16m on gms and the gloves only 2m?
rk2btw...
Doomeater @ 2006-08-07 02:49
Armbands are extremely rare, like all pred parts though but these are more rare then the others and overcamped (look at price of shades of lucubration)
docburlac @ 2006-09-06 14:42
where the predator armor items drops ? (im noob) pls answer
Shadowslave @ 2006-09-18 22:46
Named Predator mobs in Ely, such as Pained Predator, Howling Predator, etc. They are marked on Sphere Map if you have that. BTW, Still looking for these stupid Armbands, have every piece of the armor except these! >:( ...and they are WAY overpriced on GMS...18M...of course no one's buying them because they are overpriced.
Manicmouse @ 2006-10-08 05:09
Armbands have been selling for 20m each on the shopping channels, 18m on GMS is a steal.
Shadowslave @ 2006-11-16 18:50
Well, then I guess I finally got a major steal on GMS, bought one armband the other day for 13M. :)
Mergai @ 2006-11-19 20:33
i almost feel bad for getting one on GMS for 2.5m a tiny mistake by someone i think, now if i could just find another :)
leite @ 2007-05-29 18:00
bought 1 from gms for 1.5m LMAO! I love mistakes
Vxrniss @ 2007-06-04 02:58
<3 ppl with too much cash, sold mine for 15m ^^ it was the only one on there, it sold within an hour!
MsManners @ 2010-04-21 18:51
Armbands droprate isn't lower. They're more expensive because people you need two of them, effectively doubling the demand for them compared to all the other pieces. In fact, the droprate on all the pieces isn't really that bad - but the dang stuff is so useful that there's always somebody camping them.

I'm not sure why demand for the circlet is higher, but I'd be willing to bet it's the crit chance modifier. Virtually no other armor exists for mid-levels which both buffs crit and offers even half-way decent protection.
