Item Database - Eremite Macro Sensor

Eremite Macro Sensor Icon #156511 This looks like a normal insect compound eye, but at closer inspection it's apparent that it's in reality a complex spiritech sensor. The corneal lens contains large quantities of novictum.

Anybody know the drop rate on these?
Alienchild @ 2004-10-18 15:31
10% droprate on Eremite Sensors. There are three sensors that could drop then, so it's 3.3% droprate on this particular one.
woldsom @ 2004-11-25 02:26
Nowhere near 10%, I've collected some four complete blueprints, plus almost a backpack of non-matching patterns, without finding a single one. I'd estimate 5% tops, with a possibility of it being far less.
Rubyglaze @ 2005-01-08 13:41
can someone explain the critical decrease plz ? i mean it seems to be the contrary of critical chance, so cant understand the point of these 2 lines
redliner @ 2005-01-08 17:44
It is simply enough. It reduces the chance of enemies critting you.
houserocker @ 2005-09-19 11:13
To be more precise, it drops off "Coiling Eremite", "Bending Eremite", and "Swriling Eremite" (yes that's how it's spelled). These are eremites inside the rock formations, you sometimes need to go into the center of the rock formation and tab around to find them. There's one on the right, one on the left and one on center of the beach. It does not drop off "Shell Eremite", "Sparkling Eremite", or "Lost Eremite" and it's subsequent forms.

These are all found in Elysium on Shell Beach (consult your map). And yeah...you're going to be there a while.

Drop rate seems more about 5% (less even). 72 kills, 3 sensors. Two macro sensors and a psychic.
stanton @ 2005-10-29 19:37
Adding my bit of info :) Spawn on coiling swriling and bending is 10mins, i killed for just over 5 hours so 6*3*5 = 90kills. Got 1 psychic 1 macro and 2 micro.
Handy to have overview of elysiam running so u can see them pop on the map instead of tabbing endlessly.
bugi @ 2006-05-08 20:12
My result: got 4th sensor (of any type) at 70th kill, 5th at 89th kill. So, combining the earlier results, 5% is good enough estimate for droprate. I got 3 psychic, 1 macro, 1 micro; combined with earlier results, would indicate overall even distribution among the types.
lpx @ 2006-07-24 04:34
this is a really great scope when criticals are'nt your main objective.. the critical decrease really does help.
Snatchy @ 2006-08-25 11:35
You find these three Eremites on Shell Beach in Elysium. One on West Side, one South and one North inside Rock Formations.
patron1 @ 2006-10-23 16:00
The 3 eremites drops 3 different sensors: http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=246279 http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=246281 and http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=246280 After aprox. 40 kills, I've got 4 Psychic, 2 Macro, and 1 Micro. I'll use'em on alt's, or make me some credz: Psychic and Macro goes for 10 - 15M. Micro, I dunno.
GruikGruik @ 2006-11-13 23:30
131 kills on shell beach and cold rock spots so roughly 6Kills per 10mins. 4 micro sensors. 3 psychic and finally got the 3 macro i was looking for ^^
FirePaw @ 2009-12-16 19:14
Heh, was bored today and went hunting, first went to Dryads to try and get some bootleggers armour, and then headed here since I liked eremites. First kill got me this, does it still go for 10-15mil though?
Flatvia @ 2010-01-18 08:04
why would anyone want this piece of crap?

hmm a hud item that ups your damage output and lowers incoming damage at the same time, that can be equipped by any level 50 character with no ip expenditure... i have no idea why anyone would want one of these! X.x
