55 NCU cost.. 4 hour duration.. the uberness burns!
Lleets @ 2004-07-09 16:02
and it can be used on anyone over lv 210 :D almost as good as assurance attention or attention assurance or whatever..
Serturos @ 2005-01-29 19:10
Nice, nothing casting a a full set of armor in nano form.
Dworkin @ 2005-02-09 18:57
by my calculations at 220 u need a comp mocham n lil wrangle to cast it
DivineKing @ 2005-03-23 14:09
Ever heard of perks? ^^
Casiru @ 2005-06-07 20:29
Got to love giving someone a full set of armor.
malaclava @ 2005-07-14 17:18
gotta love it, even though this doesnt take away THAT much damage... it still looks cool when you see your ACs within 17,000 - 20,000+ :P
Takun @ 2005-10-25 09:28
I dont understand why people complain so much about lowbie PvP.. isnt the NCU twinking the same as the gun you get on? the better you are at getting NCU the better the buffs you should be able to use.. :?
Pegasus @ 2005-10-31 13:29
but twinking shouldn't be just about NCU. there needs to be a certain skill factor in PvP and any PvP lacks that when it is based around just one or two areas. yes, getting a lot of NCU in at really low levels can be tricky, but it's only part of the twinking and therefore it doesn't make sense that it bears so much significance at lower levels.
omikjam @ 2005-12-11 21:33
wtb engie star to add MM, maybe then it would be of any use :/
Snakebite @ 2005-12-24 14:25
Hmmm, I've just found this nano in a player shop & this is what it says on it...

"Modifier:
Upload nanoprogram Gift of Assurance

Description:
Nano Crystal - Increases all the ACs of the target by 2600 points."

Something is wrong somewhere...
Snakebite @ 2006-01-03 08:14
Turns out the ingame nano description is half wrong too lol.
Says 2600 at the top then 5000 lower down lol.
Ayngel @ 2006-01-04 19:30
Anyone confirm if this nano does do the 5k ACs or the 2600? O.o Inquiring minds want to know :D
Ofex @ 2006-01-15 06:38
damn thats -500 dmg like a 500 heal every time u get hit
Russm @ 2006-01-25 05:54
it gives 5k, dont worry. worry about getting to lvl 210 to get it castable on you.
Msauss @ 2006-03-06 13:33
don't forget that engineer's bots would love this hehe
slytha @ 2006-04-14 09:26
but its not easy to cast this ac buff self :( even if i wear 300ish ari armor there are missing a few points, arround 10. so guys be happy if you only get the 3.5k ac buffed...
rico648 @ 2006-04-14 20:36
how can you not cast this with AI armor? their must be some serious flaws in your equipment setup and ip distribution.....this was castable w/o AI for a while and thats -210 basically from maximum nano...
Arrone @ 2006-04-30 04:43
sweeet!! 3/4ths level away from being able to hav this in my NCU :P
Lillibel @ 2006-05-17 09:53
this is what i call Armor Class buff!!
slytha @ 2006-05-19 15:22
@ rico, surely its easy to cast without ari armor, but then u have to get cmo etc. without ari armor or other buffs its realy hard to reach that skill
Keex @ 2006-06-21 13:22
hrhr, thats ~15.4k AC buff for a 220 enfo *g*
that+freak shield+troll form
Yakobo66 @ 2006-07-14 15:34
lool -50 damage in 1 nano...
malewerecat @ 2006-08-17 20:55
-50 damage? Every 3 points of AC is -1 damage towards that type, so 5000/3 = 1'666 damage taken off.
Ryugu @ 2006-09-12 14:37
thought it was every 10 hmmm
Mergai @ 2006-10-06 19:36
it is -1 dam per 10pt of AC so 5000/10=500pts ...
bloodwraith @ 2007-02-01 10:49
Its doesnt affect minimum damage
Marko @ 2007-02-20 19:59
yea, and in pvp you mostly cap min dmg wven w/o this so.. blah waste of 55 NCU's
Javawarrior @ 2007-06-16 19:16
not useless marko very useful in Pvm and Social armour pvp....Bagatelle Battlestation FTW
houserocker @ 2007-12-05 22:27
aim shot, perks and nukes are like 90% of pvp dmg and they all ignore AC so :p
Xyphos @ 2008-08-14 09:49
blockers for aim shot, etc.
bio shield for perks and nukes
this nano for normal hits.
not totally useless but still... not enough.
Mohamed @ 2008-09-01 23:22
Sure it's enough, ac's are capped at 10k anyway
pyroathiest @ 2008-10-29 08:31
No, definitely not.

Take a look at this screenshot....http://home.no/ks02/bilder/diverse/22k_ac_lol.jpg
Notice the 22k radiation ac....
Zinrax @ 2009-07-22 20:15
Think he meant the rumor that all AC over 10k dont help any. That cap which i think i just a rumor myself.
houserocker @ 2009-12-24 16:54
Most weapons introduced post SL have such a small damage spread that you don't need a ton of ACs to reduce damage to min. For example a Fixer wielding Envy of the Xan has spread of 268-408, (140 spread). That only requires 1400 AC (or 2800, I forget if AC is half effective in PVP or whatever, 2800 is still nothing).

In general, ACs in PVP are useful against: MAs, pets. That is all.
Vabla2 @ 2009-12-24 21:20
You're forgetting to factor in AR multiplier to the damage as well as the crit auto-max.
