Omfg, its beautiful. . . great surprise starting attck . . .look at that recharge. . . .Ugh, I just came. .
Beldaro @ 2004-02-04 18:12
guess what ac all the sl mobs have the highest in... radiation! so will always hit for min...
Xyboc @ 2004-02-15 05:41
Fear Gunnan, who was kicking arse with this nano a month ago. =P

Btw, this owns in pvp. Saw him get a 210ish Enf to 10% without being hit once (perk root owns too).
Notumsurrrge @ 2004-03-09 05:43
Gunn killed me in 2 of these + 1 other SL one... had 9k HP, and LE'ed several times.. :/
loriath @ 2004-07-12 03:15
Lol don't think u can get 2046 MC very much lower than at 220 anyway
Mastablasta @ 2004-07-17 18:09
Loriath at 216 trox nt i can cast this buffed up ;P only it'll always be only very moderate compared to other profs damage / solo ability.
Ylisar @ 2004-09-01 19:55
it seems awesome to me, 53% nano resist only.
loriath @ 2004-10-15 06:51
A enforcer can counter this nano prety easy, a 215+ pvp enf with HHAB diverse other NR adding gear and first notum repulsor trained + rage = 2700++ NR....
Omikurita @ 2004-12-02 17:13
"A enforcer can counter this nano prety easy" ?
2,7k NR while the Def skill is 53% comes to 1431 Def Skill. Any NT who casts this nano must have at least an Attack Skill of 2046 and he will have more due to addoff items or even higher Matcrea skill. You wont counter that nano. I dont while uawos is running and i have more than 3k NR. That Nano is a killer. It lands *always* and no evade or nanoresi will help ^^
Sypiken @ 2004-12-16 18:49
Hehe.... Ive seen a NT doing this 100 times w\o hitting it...

Sooo, shall we see.

http://auno.org/ao/perk.php?prof=&breed=&level=220&p580=8&p820=0

Hehe, train out that perk and no NT will ever even threaten you again. ^^
Deathcrafter @ 2004-12-20 19:29
Sypiken : Only an idiot would train notum repulsor. The penalty to nano skills is a constant debuff.
Talien @ 2004-12-31 08:53
Funny, everyone thinks this is an ez counter. all cyberdeck nanos land ez and this is no differnt
Serturos @ 2005-01-06 20:35
notum repulsor seems to be a fav in pvp, lol depending on your proffesion of course. my 10 cents says this nuke is still pretty sweet regardless.
zyx22 @ 2005-03-18 22:58
NR shades > you Deathcrafter.
Mindori @ 2005-04-18 19:23
With the minimum mc needed to cast it this has an AR of 3860. Not so easily countered I'd say :P
Gozil @ 2005-04-20 04:25
You cant Counter this with your Nr perks so NT > dead shade :P
Rulaneda @ 2005-05-04 15:25
53% nano resist.. lol. 2 nukes and ANY shade is dead. if used together with ns2... byebye :D
Cratpoir @ 2005-06-05 03:43
This nuke is awesome! You can hit around 13k with this nuke on mobs with %nano dmg perks trained/etc.. so in pvp your talking about half of that? That's some killer damage!
Volkanov @ 2005-08-17 20:14
53% res, an NT with 2k matt crea, youd need 3k+ nano resist to even stand a chance resisting this.
Pegasus @ 2005-08-17 23:56
tbh guys, i think NTs have more problems atm than those they nuke ;P
Cheysey @ 2005-08-22 22:41
with NR fully trained this nuke wont land...
but who cares.. with that line trained the nt will kill u with his fists if he want to......
12lettername @ 2005-08-23 00:20
I doubt many profs have a 3s weapon that does 4K min damage. And as far as being countered, nano resist is weak compared to evades, level is the biggest issue, and at 220, it stops being an issue in PvP.
Moniker @ 2005-11-12 14:21
Well, shades dont really have any greatly useful nanos (besides some level locked stat buffs) so its a common choise to go nanoresist.
Moniker @ 2005-11-12 14:23
Btw while this nano is awesome, I dont think it can match the damage of a high level ma, with crits up to like 10-13k, on 1.25/1.25 with inits, 50% crit chance.
Cheysey @ 2005-11-17 21:12
10-13k crits on a 220 MA? issnt that a bit high?
7k is more true i think...

and that mp with 7perks in NR? well he's just as useless as the NT with 7perks in nr... maby the NT has 1,9k AS skill and still burns the MP
12lettername @ 2005-12-03 10:00
Aside from shades, NR is not a viable option for any profession. 1 perk doesn;t do much good, and more than one perk even with mochams and a wrangle still means you're 140+132-600 = 328 points in the hole. And 1200 nano resist + the 2000ish you'd have with a maxed skill and some work puts you at 3.2K, minus the NT debuff puts you at less than the 2K or more MC he'd have to have to cast this nano. NR3 is -800 so it's pointless to assume that. So aside from a shade with the line maxed, this nano lands. And although an NT may lack an alpha, if they can blind and run out of range (Specials don't get buffed by weaponrange increases, tried and true on my melee adv) that alpha becomes a lot less effective. I played an NT for a while. At the end I could spam absorbs faster than most mobs could break through them with room to nuke inbetween.
harton @ 2005-12-30 04:11
lol 10-13 k if they got like AC
(or i think that was 20k lol calculated once)
harton @ 2005-12-30 04:17
and notum repulsor sucks even in PvP (shades are somewhat better though)
-8k nano skills thats no heals, buffs, debuffs, and pets. no point.
nimarq @ 2006-01-27 20:46
10-13k crits on a 220 MA? issnt that a bit high?
7k is more true i think...

Well, I managed 6k crits at lvl 204 on a lvl 250 General. At 220 with DD setup? Go figure.
Cancercell @ 2006-02-20 18:59
at 220 this thing is 6k-12k its a really nasty nuke, in pvp can deal up to 7k if the nub doesnt have rrfe NT's are good people just need to know how to pvp with them
Ephyon @ 2006-05-28 05:14
People complaining just think they know everything =P
See it in action and then come back whining, beacause.. then you actually know what your talking about =P

Sure, a 220 shade with maxed NR wont die by a NT, but put him side to side with any profession with AS and its a dead shade anyway =P
Every profession has something that can take em down, And since you wanna make shade's sound uber in pvp, I dont see any profession beeing beaten by crat's as often as shades =P
Aurielle @ 2006-06-20 01:56
Try 9-10k crits for a 220 MA on RK

Mmm, the only decent NT nuke, pity it takes 220 levels to get it :P
Teiji @ 2006-07-19 03:51
Actual damage would be (5840-10830) after END perk and square chip. (6805-12620) with program overload running. Pretty spiffy.
Cratpoir @ 2006-07-24 08:09
It's only as spiffy as you think on RK ^^ - in SL.. you are ALWAYS going to hit minimum - now so spiffy now is it?..

If it was 7.4k-8.9k -- then it'd be a different story.. - then at least NT's would TRULY hit good damage levels..
Teiji @ 2006-09-07 09:02
18869-34994 potential with the new stuff with 16.3 running. Spiffy.
Ryugu @ 2006-09-16 12:47
18869-34994 potential with the new stuff with 16.3 running. Spiffy.
UBAR SPIFFY
omikjam @ 2006-10-07 04:35
The maximum damage for IU would be 21282-39469, unless program overload crashes. That is with hood, AM10, END6, TR9, +dmg cyberdeck, exterm shroud and nanobot shielding. Good for spawncamp alpha/ganking I guess, but the 30min recharge is retarded.. Imagine if END6 added 350% nanodamage instead of the current 18, that would really put NTs on the top in damage. ;)
Whitey @ 2006-11-02 01:39
imagine the taunt too :/
Shadow.ik @ 2006-12-10 22:48
Erm....Nanobot Shielding replace every another modifiers....
Btw you heard They are going to make new dmg line for NTs in LE??
lupask @ 2007-01-02 12:18
where can i get this? is it rollable?
furay @ 2007-01-11 22:32
they said they were making a new damage line... dont know what happened to it though.
Shadow.ik @ 2007-01-12 20:27
Check : Mastablasta Catalysm,Izgimmer's Triple,Izgimmers double
etc
just too much VP needed :/
furay @ 2007-01-14 23:06
no... they said they would add a new perk/proc line that would add to nano damage
Ilikebunnies @ 2007-01-27 07:52
There is a new nano line.. which will probably be nerfed because right now it pwns to a rediculous extent.
Search for patch 17 + nanotechnician requirement.
Yakobo66 @ 2007-02-26 12:02
there is a new line, research, sure it adds nano dmg in there ;) and ofab armour adds too
Dumbarajko @ 2007-11-14 18:49
get chemical dmg generation device, then debuff target with -5000 chemical AC then PWN with this
Yakobo66 @ 2007-11-16 11:21
dmg type modifiers only effects physichal dmg not nano dmg (afaik) :d
Shadow.ik @ 2008-05-14 16:50
O'rly?
AC affect nukes aswell... so basiclay if ppl werent geemps they'd ask engi in BS for 5k AC buff that's -1500 dmg per triple...
Shadow.ik @ 2008-05-14 16:51
Oh and btw! We have ultimatum already ... FC gief us "Izgimmer War Ending" doing 7-11k dmg base?
Nts lack dmg so badly these times... (i speak about pvm)
Yakobo66 @ 2008-09-19 12:16
Was referring to the chem dmg generator ;) they only change the dmg type to physical dmg not nano... otherwise everyone would be pwned >.> (changing dmg type to match all other attacks)
deadaim11 @ 2009-02-17 20:58
THE GREATEST ATTACK NANO EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Arcforcer @ 2009-03-05 00:34
i know this have already been answered by just in case some 1 still having any question about Notum repulsor.....
this is what you get from perking it 8 times........ if you still having a nanoskill your an ARK ........

Well, you can baff yourself and then do full perk reset. Shade baffz last 4h each anyway and many people are willing to pay 20 mln creds just to own few people in pvp :P
Stormstrider @ 2009-06-20 13:04
big fat LOL at those many people :P
fly @ 2009-07-19 08:52
20m is pocket change.
fly @ 2009-07-19 08:53
Especially if you want to kill casting professions at a tl7 tower war where spending 20m could save you 100m's in towers.

And would last you approx .1 second after you get called.. NR8 != AS protection
Hbar @ 2009-12-09 08:15
hits up to 16k with a DD setup and program overload running, yummie.

not AS protection but it is triple protection, ubt protection, drain protection, root protection, snare protection, blind protection (can dump alb blind huds), fear protection (not from crats tho :/) etc etc
Kuingar @ 2013-08-08 04:10
Yeah, hit NR8 and team an Engineer for a spot of funky.
mtngoat02 @ 2015-03-10 03:46
