'The Comforter' it was named. It was a Bali Xaod. In our language we might have called it a 'Homunculus'. Its body was made and cultivated in the great city of Adonis, but the spirit came from the land. It had the gift of speech already from its birth, and its creators would soon get into the habit of visiting it in its cell, to talk about anything between the sky and the earth. No subject was too small or too big, to stupid or to clever. The Bali Xaod would listen and respond - and they would feel better when they left.
One of its creators was Jihani-Pi Dal. She was the one that took a part of its essence and made this appliance, that can be used to turn one of the weapons of the Unredeemed against themselves, She was also the one that took the steps to free it from its cell. It has since wandered in all the lands of the Unredeemed, to talk with and comfort the ones that have a need for it.
