Nanfer-Doth was the ugliest and most filthy of all the Unredeemed that has ever lived, but his daughter, Lai-Chaer-Doth, was a beauty. They called her 'Nader Awad-Ero Manacthabol', which means 'Beauty that brings tears to your eyes'. She was loved by all, and even the Redeemed came to the place where she lived to spy on her. They could not believe that such a beautiful creature could be an Unredeemed, and they laid a plan to get her on their own side.
In a great battle the Redeemed took many of the Unredeemed prisoners. They were asked what the price would be to release them, and the Redeemed told them: 'Give us Lai-Chaer-Doth, and you shall have 75 of your greatest warriors back'. The Unredeemed answered that such a thing they could not do. She was a free beeing, and she had nothing to do with that battle, they said. Lai-Chaer-Doth heard all this. She went to the front and offered herself in exchange for the warriors. This was what the Redeemed had hoped for, in fact they interpreted the act as a proof that she was really one of their own people.The exchange was done and Lai-Chaer-Doth ended up with the Redeemed.
She was married to one of their leaders, Jaed-Maguel. He was very pretty too, but brutal, and he tried to force a unity between their spirits. As all know; such a thing could not be. As a result of the seance her spirit was destroyed, and she became ill. As she slowly faded away her beauty faded with her, and the Redeemed sent her back to her own house. There they captured an essence of her spirit, and made an appliance that can turn one of the weapons of the Redeemed against themselves.
