Item Database - Charred Abaddon Chassis

Charred Abaddon Chassis Icon #41163 ...and at the front of the burning legions was Hezak, his sword cleaving the light...
This semi-organic biomechanical battle suit has 3 slots where Abaddon Upgrade data cards can be inserted. There are slots for one blue, one green, and one gold data cards. The blue card must be inserted first, then a green card, and finally a gold card. Once a data card is inserted, it cannot be removed.
Inserting an Abaddon Upgrade data card into the Chassis will cause the Chassis to upgrade itself and provide the wearer with additional benefits. The data cards will explain the benefits they will provide.

Nilspils @ 2004-08-22 18:16
+ You got to get the upgrade's. =P
Jeff120 @ 2005-09-19 23:49
WOW UBER
OICW @ 2005-10-29 12:46
I'm actualy suprised that i see none of the froob soldiers running around in this since it is nice once you have all the upgrades and imo much easyer to obtain then Azure /Sentinel /OTAF Armor.(Besides being equipable at a lower level.

Blizzard guys have played too much AO while making WC3 =)
lostlife @ 2006-01-15 03:26
there has to be somthing im not seeing, what makes this armor bad, i know its there, i just cant find it...
Moniker @ 2006-01-20 14:45
This suit isnt bad, its UBER. Equip this with a set of ljtour and youl have like 10-12k acs, and decent mods, not to mention you get to look cool while your at it!
drakidia @ 2006-01-30 01:54
this is social armor,
as you can't wear normal armor with it..
Raveneffect @ 2006-03-07 06:03
"Equip this with a set of ljtour" < Ljtour can be worn with Social. Actually quite curiousity as to how this would perform with a Full set of Ljtour.
triggerzer0 @ 2006-03-09 09:38
actually, they fixed ljotur armor, doesnt work anymore
mosnami @ 2006-03-13 16:50
This drop a-lot. Too bad didn't log my soldier to join the raid to get it :(
Sferykal @ 2006-10-31 17:07
triggerzer0, Ljotur armor cannot be worn with GA anymore, that was the big problem about it. It still can be used together with the Chassis and other similar armors (e.g. Monitor Smoking Suit). Check the comments to the Ljotur armor pieces :-)
Stimpack @ 2006-11-29 17:52
funky^^
Sferykal @ 2007-07-04 09:42
See http://wiki.aodevs.com/wiki/Charred_Abaddon_Chassis for a listing of the 8 different final (aka fully upgraded) versions of this armor piece.
Darth_Trader @ 2010-08-29 05:35
wich it was visual prof would be epic for agents xD
Vigos @ 2010-12-16 07:14
Best armor for casual (meaning non-twink or optomizer) froob soldiers hands down. ESPECIALLY minimalists like me. You dont need to worry about rings, braclets, or armor, simply... Abaddon :D

Best froob TMS is 75% from Mk X + 15% from abaddon = 90% dmg negation/absorption/reduction for 1.2min!

Best Reflect is 30% from RRF + 15% from Abaddon = 45% dmg negation/absorption/reduction for 30min!

Damage reflect is 154 and 66 respectively. UBER! Thats not even adding the bonus NCU, Nano Resist, Health, Offensive Mod, exp bonus, and close to 6k average ACs.
The ACs alone beats out Apocalypse, Barter, Carb (all variants), CAS, Junkmetal, Living Dragon, Omni-AF (with Omni Armed Forces Tank Armor), Omni Battle Medic, and Omni-Tek Steel-Ribbed armors by at least 1k. All of which are ql200s comparing to the abaddon at ql160!
Vigos @ 2010-12-20 03:12
And thats all without any upgrades 0.o

PLUS its WAY easier to get as stated by OICW, above. This in a nutshell is what grid armor is to fixers, this is to (froob) soldiers.
Vigos @ 2010-12-22 17:08
Oops... my bad 15 is dmg mod not reflect dmg.
tazerboy @ 2011-07-21 23:32
pretty nice for a froob
Therrito @ 2011-09-12 12:56
