Where do you find this? is it rollable?
Grou @ 2004-10-10 12:35
ahh found it nm...

The programmed photon particle emitter is of qualitylevel 60 and drops very seldom as random loot in missions. The best way to actually procure one is from boss-loot via team-missions. The team-mission needs to be of level 57-60, as the Boss is always a few levels above. A good tip would be to have a level 76 character roll up 20% difficulty missions for an exact match.
houserocker @ 2005-04-04 14:38
Easiest way is a level 83 to pick a 0% difficulty. The resulting QL58 mission leads to a lvl60 boss, etc etc.
RoadHaiku @ 2005-04-14 19:54
At level 83, 0% difficulty doesn't always produce a QL60 boss. But at level 78 (not 76), setting the slider at 20% will always yield a QL58 mission with a QL60 boss. In my experience, searching at level 78 is the way to go.

lvl 60 ga fixer doing team mission wid defult setning.
it need to drop one day i hope.. (its a totw twink so my fixer stay at lvl 60 :p )
Myrdek @ 2005-09-07 00:03
Confirmed for me, been doing L58 Missions for quite a while and always got a L60 boss. Can roll it when your level 61-65-69 too.
Orichalcon @ 2005-12-12 20:21
Confirmed drop for both Soft and Hard versions of this from Level 60 Team Mission Bosses. It took 54 missions for the first drop and then another 3 for the second drop. Expect to spend a good 20 or so hours searching before finding either one.

If you're clan: Have a level 78 friend pull missions in Wailing Wastes with difficulty at 20% and settings LLLRRR. Pick up 9 missions in Stret West Bank. Then blitz the missions through to the boss. Having the maximum nine missions all in stret west bank makes for shorter travelling distance between missions, and it's a common mission site from the terminals in Wailing Wastes.
Orichalcon @ 2005-12-12 20:23
Forgot to mention: Confirmed that you need to pull up level 58 missions to get level 60 bosses. Setting the bar to 20% at level 78 WILL generate the correct level mission each time. Try to pull find item missions.
Garner @ 2006-01-05 14:37
Got one as a dyna-loot (hyena near Duhndur in Wailing Wastes).
Msauss @ 2006-01-12 10:44
Um, so u can't do ql 60 mishs to get one?
And which would be more painful: making CAS armor or getting this?
Forek @ 2006-02-06 01:56
I can confirm that this still drops off the bosses in team missions. I'd guess it's about a 5% drop rate - Three from 46 missions.

I rolled QL58 missions at lvl84.
Forek @ 2006-02-06 01:57
Forgot to mention that one of those three was the Shape Soft Armor that I was actually trying to find.
mace-windu @ 2006-02-10 18:54
ummm what is this for?
Orichalcon @ 2006-03-08 14:31
Mace: It makes crafting soft and hard armour very much easier. The requirements to use this are much less than the screwdriver, and anyone into tradeskills generally will follow you to the edge of the earth to get this little baby. Combines with a Mass Relocating Bot to become the tool that so many Engineers and other professions desire.

If you find one. Don't sell it to the shops. Post it in the shopping channel and you're likely to make an instant cool 60 mill.
Keex @ 2007-02-09 16:29
i would never buy one for my engi. wtf how often would you use it to make armor for yourself? never? but exactly the people selling the PPPEs are then looking for tradeskillers to make dragon armor for them for free^^
Pizzaroll @ 2007-07-28 23:05
60m is probably on the high end of the price range for these. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than 30-40.
I'd rather find it myself though :)
Shiare @ 2008-08-26 13:51
just wanted to say that the level boss you get when doing team missions is kind of weird when pulling at level 83 missions. As an Engy @ level 83, difficulty set to 0%, lowest mission setting pulls level 58 team missions and the boss will be level 59 "EVERY SINGLE TIME". Level up to 83 and you will still pull level 58 missions at 0% difficulty on the slider but now the boss will be level 60 "EVERY SINGLE TIME". I'm not sure this happens at any other level that you can pull level 58 missions for. All I know is I've spent 2 weeks doing about 20 missions a day at level 83 (getting level 58 misisons) and have never pulled a level 60 boss...they were always level 59. The moment I leveled up to 84 and pulled level 58 missions, I've been getting level 60 bosses exclusively.

However, the loot the boss drops will be of varying levels. For instance I killed a level 60 boss tonight and got quality 60 - 72 loot. this has happened on many occasions.

Basically all I'm saying is that it depends at which level you pull your missions that will determine if you get bosses 1 level higher than the mission level or 2 levels higher. So you may be able to pull a level 60 boss from a level 58 mission if your lower or higher than level 83 and 84....but at least at level 83 and 84 I know you will get the same level boss every time (a 59 boss if your level 83 and a 60 boss if your level 84).

Shiare @ 2008-08-26 13:53
oops typo > Level up to 83 and you will still pull level 58 missions at 0% difficulty on the slider but now the boss will be level 60 "EVERY SINGLE TIME".

supposed to read "level up to 84"
Xebulba @ 2009-10-09 14:43
