Cluster Bullets Icon #26685 This is a container of Cluster Bullets - a general type of bullets called 'permorpha'-bullets. They can only be used with Submachine Guns, to allow a particularly effective Burst attack - affecting a large area at a time. The heavy recoil from firing them will give you a slight amount of damage, and make you unable to use the attack again for 20 seconds.
NOTE: 'Use' the bullets in your inventory to attack.

Was this borked in a recent patch? Only the currently selected target takes damage (besides me), nothing else, no matter how close, does. The description suggests this is an area attack, so why isn't it attacking an area? All it seems to do is provide another special that does chem damage to the currently selected target and locks your primary weapon skill.

very possible, FC fudges up this kind of stuff up often and they have no idea about it

okay update: I haven't gotten around to asking yet (and I don't play a fixer myself), but upon closer inspection it seems that the area attack is based on a 2 meter radius around your fighting target, and not yourself, so check up on that

if you still want to know, it appears to be an expendable, seeing as the shop has you buy it in units of 100 or so, similar to normal ammo or heal kits. So not a leveling item.
