Excuse me, but does it increase the pet's attack speed? :)
|
Hafenbraut @ 2007-12-09 12:15
Makes the Bot hold aggro better, which can make him die faster, in some situations.

AlphaCenta @ 2008-02-14 12:13
Does it increase damage as well, or is it just to give the bot better chances of grabbing aggro?

Azzy @ 2008-04-05 12:43

Also look at the Increase Agressiveness Trimmer
|
Zinrax @ 2008-06-08 21:21
Well if it increase the agg of the bot it should mean that it makes it hit faster at the same time? And ofc with faster hits comes greater damage...

It increases Aggro, not AGG/DEF slider. It has effect on damage of the pet.

This nano does not affect the pet's damage.
Aggressiveness (this nanoline, smaller buff from Gallant Hero line, and/or Trimmer - Increase Aggressiveness) = affects pet taunt. Helps bot to hold aggro only.
Agg/def (Trimmer - Positive Aggressive-Defensive) = affects pet speed. This is also a huge damage boost due to the increase in hits/min.
AAO/damage buffs(Gallant Hero line, Motivational aura, weapon enhancement if you have it, Trimmer - Divert Energy to Offense) = affects pet damage/attack rating directly.
For paid crats, this nanoline is of very limited use. The robot is generally squishier than Carlita/Carlo or a nice charm, so even though you can heal the bot directly it's very unlikely you want it tanking and building additional aggro. At 220 with Corporate Strategy the robot already does comparable or possibly even more damage than Carlo, but has much less HP. As for froobs, I couldn't say, I guess they would probably prefer the bot had aggro over a squishy froob crat, but I suspect they don't often fight big things solo so it's probably a wash.
