Basically +perception is a handy buff, RE isn't that hard to get up with imps and wrangles, and it doesn't conflict with very many froob friendly items. So no real reason not to at least throw a low level one on.

new skawt's weapons from The Reck are great RE guns that make using these a viable option for pushing a bit more DD. They may lack flingshot, but hey at least they get this!

Oldie but a goodie. Soldiers @ 220 will have a decent amount of RE. Without IP I'm seeing between 500 and 1500 damage per use depending on which perks/procs are up. When doing things like APF and Pande that can be a siginificant damage boost. Especially combined with Notum-charged Grenades (VP nano) and Clipfever.
