The technology has been known for decades, but noone has yet managed to make a version that's easy to use, thus some technical understanding is required to use it. The gun is powerful, and silent for it's size, although range suffers, and fire rate is fairly low.

Nice froobie soldier sidearm for the cases where your normal gun offers not the right damage type (e.g. energy mission boss, Prototype Inferno in Cyborg Barracks, etc.). Decent damage, slowish Burst, though. The perfect gun choice if you want to save IPs.
