Had intended to go with an FBR but fate smiled on me yesterday and I was able to obtain a Permafrost. However after doing alot of scribbling on paper and consulting Auno's most excelent Item Database I've come to the conclusion that it just isn't possible. I'm pretty sure that I could get an FBR on now and the Fast Attack skill for the Permafrost is also possible, but the 2HE is givin me nightmares. So I'm callin out for help. See if anyone has any ideas or can spot any errors in my calculations. My Doc is solitus which gives him a base skill of 572 2HE at lvl190. QL225 Implants = 228 2HE OTAF Sleeves x2 = 14 2HE Behe, Prod Strength, Stam & Strength Expertise = 15 2HE 2HE Expertise = 20 2HE Strength & Stamina Implants = 10 2HE Wrangle = 132 2HE QL 200 Nova Dillon Head, Body, & Boots = 4 2HE Total = 995 2HE Then hot swapping the following. 150 Long Slank = 25 2HE 200 Jobe-Made Bladestaff = 50 2HE Giving a final total with the Bladestaff of 1045 2HE Permafrost requires 1089 2HE Frost Bound Reaper 1040 2HE As for the Fast Attack requirements of the Permafrost: Solitus base skill @ lvl 190 = 625 FA QL 225 Implants = 228 FA Bloodshed Armband = 3 FA OTAF Gloves = 10 FA FA Expertise = 20 FA Feline Grace, Enhanced Senses, Agility & Sense Boost = 8 FA Sense & Agility Implants = 10 FA Gives a final total of 904 FA The Permafrost requires 893 FA Going from this the Permafrost is only going to be possible to equip at lvl 200 when i can use ql 230 Implants and have an additional 40 points in 2HE but I'd really like for somone to prove me wrong on this so please if you have any Ideas or suggestions I'd love to hear from you. Instead of two OTAF sleeves you could replace one with a Right Sleeves of the Pest. It adds 2 more 2HE. On your back you could wear a Omni-Armed Forces Assault pack which adds 1 to both Fast attack and 2HE. On my 183 froob solitus doc I can wear 230 implants as is, it might save you a few points. Wearing a The Dantian Belt of Life[/ul] and [url=http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=246833]Grasping Ring gives you 5 extra stamina and strength for a little trickledown. On your free finger you could wear a +5 strength filligree ring. Also, even though a trader has to have shadowlands expansionpack to cast an umbral, froobs can receive it too. At level 195 this would give you a 146(?) instead of 132 boost. Good luck on getting your weapon on! :) |

If you get to lvl 195 you can recieve +146 2HE if you find a Trader with Distill Life 10 perked, who can cast Umbral Wrangler (Exceptional) for you. |

By level 195 I will have gained 20 2HE raising the total to 1065 with an aditional 14 2HE from the Umbral and 1 from the Assault Pack (thx guys I'd forgotten about that) I will have 1080. This will leave me 9 points to find. In my calculations I kinda picked ql 225 implants out of the air because I knew that they were possible to do ... if you've managed 230 at 184 I should be able to match the QL or better giving me an extra 4 points 2HE. As for those elusive 5 points I'm hopeing that I'm going to be able to make them up by using refined implants for my abilities and your other excellent suggestions.. Thankyou again. My doc is 191 now and I'm going to be playin like crazy to get him to 195 asap .... soon as he gets there i'll give it a shot and will advise you how I get on. Just as an aside, given that its going to be 75% OE when equipped do you feel I will be better off going back to QL 200 Implants with AAD clusters when it's on or keeping the refined ones in? Thanks to Anarch3 he is also wearing a Dantian Belt of Life for those extra few points of stamina. His abilities are adequate for the critical QL 230 2HE right and left arms and waist implants. I'm waiting for the empty waist and arms from a friend as I cannot currently roll level 230 missions on my agent. - Thankyou for your help Flamebrand. Meantime I'm putting together a set of QL 225-227 ability implants for the chest, leg and feet to ensure I have the maximum trickle-down possible into 2HE and FA. However the needs of life on RK4 sometimes take priority over what we would prefer to be doing (as I type this from work!) and so I'm going to have to wait until the weekend to get the rest of the implants made and the Permafrost on. Once again I'd like to thank Harlieq, Ebagmp and Fusskiller for getting the Doc his very sexy OTAF tank armour and boots. As soon as I'm finished twinking him I'll be hassling you again to help me to finish off the set. (Meantime he's padding out the "gimp" look with a few peices of lifeguard). Regards Wyoh |

I think it's possible provided i can make up for the Bio Met I'm going to loose from replacing the faded waist cluster with 2he... I'm not entirely sure how much losing the AAD clusters from the arms will hurt me but I think it's a risk I'm prepared to take keeping in mind the increase in damage it will provide. I went back to QL 200 arms after I got the Permafrost on as I was convinced at the time that I couldn't make up the Bio Met. I have 810 2HE currently, the Permafrost requires 872 2HE to get it out of OE. Putting in QL 230 implants to waist and arms will give me an additional 64 2HE a total of 874. I'm going to be losing 46 Bio Met from the waist, admittedly I do not need all this, currently I have 878, my target is 865 (the requirement to cast Deathless Blessing). This will leave me with 832, which means I need to find an additional 33 points in Bio Met. Fancy Stethascopic Glasses 12 OTAF Pants 10 3rd Circle of the Inner Sanctum 5 Ring of Presence 4 Total 31 In addition I'm currently wearing a QL 206 head implant which gives 108 Bio Met ( the last implant to go in and I just grabbed what I had at the time), If my mind serves me correctly I had 1130 treatment when that went in which means i could get a QL 213 implant in there giving me the 2 Bio Met I need. Although I'm loathe to do it I think I'm going to strip him and go for it ..... well maybe after I ding 196 ... after all I still need to get the damn OTAF pants and getting help from the Org is like pulling teeth sometimes. Gonna draw a line underneath this little project now. It's been a long, hard job but finally it's over and to be honest I'm extreemly pleased with the results. So if your making a Doc and all you can think of is gelids or shottie... think again. In my humble opinion 2he is also a very viable option. Regards Wyoh |

No not really, 865 Bio Met is required to cast Deathless Blessing, curent setup gives 864 unbuffed with the skill maxed (my personal preference, but the ability to self-cast the top HoT was my primary concern with UBT coming in second). Currently nanoskills are: MM 869, BM 864, PM 849, MC 699, TS 809, SI 551 (unbuffed) If anything he's MM heavy, I could easily afford to change the chest implant to psychic giving 800 MM unbuffed which is still more than sufficent to cast all the RK nano's and the trickledown would push BM skill well past the need for expertise to cast Deathless Blessing. Also the faded eye cluster could now be changed to MC so he can cast better DoT's and Short Term Health Boost, but I'm to busy playing my new trader to rip him apart and start reimplanting. |

I cast top team heal : 874 in BM, with BM implanted in bright and faded. BUT : I need BM expertise , intel boost, 2 fractured nightmare (for NR, but with the +4 Int / psy) AND a +10 BM / MM tower + a +5 or +6 BM contract. and got INT in faded ear. then again, I m TL5 capped, and my trusty Skillemulator gives me 719 instead of 677 in BM for lvl 200 solitus instead of lvl 172 NM : 42 point difference. |
