This tool has been obsoleted by the AO patch 15.6 (Alien Invasion). You can nowadays get AO to automatically sort your icons, or even better, view your nanos in list mode. This makes finding the things you want a lot faster, and removes the need for third party sorting tools.

Click the small 'i' in the top left corner of your nano window and select 'View in list mode' or 'Auto arrange' to achieve this.
