youd get +40. Im not sure why the meele damage mod is there, but only +fire damage mods have any effect when fists are on.

melee dmg modifier applies when some other stuff changes your dmg type back to melee (some keeper stuff can do it iirc)

well if u are in animal form when advy uses beckoning it overwrites this and it turns back to melee dmg when its done

It's the Change Damage type Fire AC, that really matters. I myself use energy fists, but if you go with a fire setup, you gets 2 nice little 202/215 sabas, and oh joy, look at the damage! Plus, what's wrong with 26 free dmg anyhow? :o

another good reason for fire damage is Dragonfire perk attack - debuffs target fire AC by 2k. Nice in tl3/tl4 pvp especially...

I think they just added the little add damage buff for kicks :) The main use for this nano line would be for pvp'ing ppl when you know where their ac hole is. Just change your damage to where they are weak and blast away :)

Main use is also when you use weapons, bob/shen stick natural damage type is Energy & fists are melee, so cast a fist buff to harmonise the lot & all your damage gear works every hit.

Depends if you want your fists to match your perks, or your AS/sneak to match your fists. At TL5 AS is the most useful thing to kill cocoon quickly, so fire fists > no buff.

The MA lines add to melee, since brawl / dimach do melee damage even with fists running iirc. Would have to check again to see if that is still the case.
