It seems that this one, like some other drops (Overcoat of Firm. Bellum Badonis Coat + shoulderpads), have gotten the NODROP flag on them. So maybe they are removing the "old" versions to stop people from camping the and selling them on?

None of the new NODROPs like this have been confirmed in-game even. besides the new perens.

All the new NODROPs (exept Mudurlurgu Acid Spitter) have been confirmed ingame (and the new mudurlurgu will probably be confirmed as soon as some trader finisehs ansi quest line)
