NOTE to -anyone- thinking about this armor ... look at Combined Officer's ... same Max Nano buffage and buffs all your nano skills by 30 per piece.
Paramedic's is crap. The only folks who should begin to consider it are Nanomages for the body dev.
|
Rolfor @ 2005-07-25 00:46
Yeah right because body dev. is SOOO good for nanomage since they get 2 Max Health per point. I'd say this is for sure the "worst" type of alien armor but its also by FAR the cheapest one. You can make a piece of this for easily 1/5th of what the most expensive types cost.
Good thing's about Combined Paramedic's
Same total Max Health/Body Development as Combined Mercenarie's.
Same Nano pool, Max nano and Nano cost modifier as Combined Officer's.
Same AC's as all the other Combined armor type's.
It's the only alien armor type which has all 3 of the above.
REAL cheap compared to other alien armor type's
Bad thing's about Combined Paramedic's
It lacks the +1-30 ranged/melee/nanoskill skill's that the other armor type's have.
In my book, this can be useful in certain situations and/or during certain condition's

i use it on my doc, it gives me a lot of hp, and now im at -48 nanocost self...
|
Jahf @ 2005-10-07 07:23
just to backtrack ... *whistle* ... I was looking at this from the perspective of a L150is troxdoc who was suffering from nanocastitis. At 213 with the same doc now, have no real nanocasting problems, and have been converted. I'll probably have 1 or 2 pieces of officers, but majority of what I'll be wearing will be this stuff. The things we learn ^^.
|
Naturalistic @ 2005-10-24 09:39
If you're set with NanoSkills... and need the extra HP/Nano... I'd go for this. Not very many bonuses compared to the Officer's, but at QL 300, it's well worth it. I still prefer Officer's or Azure though :P

Azzy @ 2006-01-21 08:01
+hp ftw for solo playing
|
danexpan @ 2006-06-02 13:49
which bots are used to make this?
|
Jahf @ 2006-06-18 09:11
Spiritual + Enduring ... it's the cheapest type of Combined AI armor (well, due to market fluctuations it may share that prize with Officer's, but overall its the cheaper from what I see) ... mostly because not -many- people want it except Docs and the occasional MP/Crat.

azure breast > this

Yakobo66 @ 2006-08-26 21:20
azure breast < lvl lock : this > twink
|
stanton @ 2006-09-26 13:51
As nice as the Azure is, from my doc's perspective this wins hands down imo. Better ac's, better hp mod, looks better, and i have 49% nano cost mod anyway.

Azlack @ 2006-10-04 02:09
kegern's chest, leo's boots, helmet of hipocrisy, scorpio's shell, chosen pads and the rest: paramedic, you cant go wrong
|
Solostron @ 2006-11-21 13:37
What is up with this armor? You'd think they would at least add a high BM MM mod to make it better for doctors (and the other healers), what exactly is the point of using this over a set of combined officer's (+210 mods to nano skills at ql 300) or combined mercs/commando (if you're going for more damage).
|
Solostron @ 2007-01-15 14:24
Or any other combined set for that matter.
|
Mohamad @ 2007-04-07 07:43
Yes this does suck compared to any other ai armors, but its cheaper to buy and the ac's, like all combined, kicks ass!

"...what exactly is the point of using this over a set of combined officer's..."
Because you'll have an extra few hundred mil left over.
I'd take scout of Officers anyways, but this armor does have it's place and in combination with other items might be a great option.

Courreal @ 2007-04-26 16:13
If you have the nano skills, what is the point in using CO over this? :P
|
zeyre @ 2007-04-27 18:48

Well there are these little things called "debuffs" you might have heard of.
|
homelesshigh @ 2007-10-29 22:21
The majority of situations where this is a good choice, you don't need to worry about anything like nano debuffs.
Using it on s10 twink, almost -50% nanocost, and a nanopool you could do laps in.

spamal @ 2007-12-14 08:06
For battlestation docs, you might want the combined officer's setup instead. The extra HP from paramedics is good, but there are other ways to get decent HP now. The advantage of the CO armor is for the very high attack rating it gives to doc's attack nanos. Specifically, with a full set of CO your DOT's and UBT will land on nearly everyone, even those with highly perked nanoresist. For example, at TL5 battlestation It is better to land your UBT early than to have an extra 1,000 HP...you're going to have plenty of time to CH anyway if you can UBT your opponent.
|
Yakobo66 @ 2007-12-22 18:14
O.o BS = alpha zerg... alphas dont really give a crap about ubt so meh
This = +hp so VERY useful for docs who have enough nanoskills already
|
Kingduck @ 2008-06-29 18:49
excellent armor choice mixed with reactive for leveling tl5 docs/agents that use mimic doc/enfos
|
Erxi @ 2009-09-22 16:53
Cheapest combined armor - hp and nanocost reduction doesn`t suck in most cases, and this can be better than many other armor options at some level ranges.
