oops.. just found out.. :) you feed it to a Source Fragment Scanner. Part of the quest to get Prenumbra garden key. I picked this up in a static dungeon in Scheol, though, so go figure...

Yeah, found that and some pen keys in an ely static. Not that I'm complaining ;)

If you see any of these, hold on to them for dear life. You need a whopping 35 of them to get the Penumbra key. I found a good number of them in the Adonis static "The Fifth Pantheon", the level 162 dungeon at the 170 Incarnator. They can also be bought and sold on GMS.
