Any idea on what is it used for ?
i wonder if any engineer would need it or if it's used for ammo making.

as of right now, there is no tradeskill involving this item. and if there was an NPC in the world that wanted it, we would have known about it by now. most likely it's shop food until FC either adds a tradeskill to it, or removes it.

Id say the description makes it bluntly obvious its shopfood. Check the description of Tagging device and other items design as shopfood..
