If I remember correct, they do not drop from anyone. They have to be made with a egg that drops from the Mantis Queen in LVG. And you have to add 3 Soul Fragment to make this Virral Triumvirate Egg. Very nice for nanomages.

The ravager drops the eggs aswell, in Smugglers den also to note, you can not use sl gold to make this, not sure why, Gold is gold.. unless they plan on fixing it.

Doubt they'll fix it... SL gold is there for cash, RK gold is there for tradeskilling. Unless they plan on making all of the ely kiters quit their jobs by removing the value from the hecks.

Another view. RK ingots are just big enough to make a ring or a bit of gold wire from, and aren't worth a lot in shops, while SL gold may be too large and have too many impurities to use for the same purposes, but through quantity it's worth a lot more.

Madakai, true, I just never see much diffrent credit wise ( not including hecks loot) for the random gold that drops in spere form and so forth.

i personally prefer this over either sided pads. although the omni pads of dedication are nice with a much larger health mod, i would much rather have the extra stats and small damage addon. couple this with another egg or MoR, and you're golden.

Depends of your prof, nano users i think would prefer 2 of these. Good for twinking into tier early also.

What do you mean to lazy? I've camped for days but the last part didn't drop. So i wendt and got myself 2 GOC. Viral egg is just invaluable when equipping symbiants but other then that resting in my bank.

they're not only good for twinking. they are also very nice shoulderpads for combat, especially for more nano-dependant classes, as the extra intelligence provides a +4/5 trickledown to all nanoskills. not to mention the nice 150 bonus to HP and nano :)

i don't see the clou on the sided pads. the +100 AC is negligible, +16 first aid - hm, don't use first aid so far (fixer).
+15 int and psychic (plus damage modifier) is great. good thing for fixers (with their blue nano-skills) i'd say.

Nice shoulder items for trickle down into nano skills, and also for hitting that 2 sec nanodelta earlier :)

tbh I don't see why people are comparing these with the sided pads at all... they're for completely different purposes alltogether. Personally I use these when I'm TSing or need to buff on something that requires int/psy (or when I was still a couple points too low to self cast my slayer without them).

well thats because they r both shoulder pads mate :) Granted they buff different things alot of the items like the black shirt of zuwadza are used on lvl 60 twinks.

As a lowbie twink u normally cant just switch these out at will at anytime(especially as a froob)..so as a result players have to compare and contrast theses items untill they figure which route they want to go.

i understand these arent exactly what many consider armor because the dont add to ac, but because they go in the smae spot as another armor piece and because they arent so easy to equip at lower lvls like 60 and below they have o eb compared to see what is the better of the 2 for my proffession and fighting style.

Btw i twinked these on my lvl 60 Fr00b MP Twink. I had to max int/psy, Use shades of lucubration, 2x rings of presence, full suit of novadillon armor, 2x O.E.T Jess pistols and 115-120ish implants.

Thanx to the like 7 point trickle down i can cast trancendent wrath incarnation, restite, and absuum self buffed. Soloing Azzy is fun :P

my lvl 60 meta got these on, with set of arith and 2 devalos, believe me, the extra nanoskillz are rlly usefull for the extra nano's like nuke's and stuff, i think NT's love these even more then my meta twink ^^

hell i got a pair on my trox keeper just for the nano+ ofc the 300 hp dont hurt ^^

Just proves that your NCU was almost full, and most likely CI running.

i have a VTE and pad combo, i like the damage + health and nano the VTE gives, but i'd rather have a GoS than this

Agreed on not that hard... just put a pair on a 50 nt and off the top of my head I can think of another 26 available int/psy, without even using the +20 int/psy OET pistols.
