lol, i like the description. it would be even cooler if there was a 1% chance on being hit for melee ac of blowing up for a 100 meter 10k blast that would hit everything, even if pvp wasnt enabled...or mabey fc would only do that if there was a reason to get this gun, lol.

Looks to me like it could be make a nice froob Sol weap, if you manage to get some sort of decent crit setup that might counter the slowish speed and lack of a burst special for example.

1) The droprate of that gun is less than 100%, so getting it, aside of all the problems accompanied with the killing, may take some time. The nodrop-tag is not really helping this issue.

2) Heavy Weapons skill cannot be buffed aside of Total Focus and Expertise, and clashes with Assault Rifle skill in the shiny cluster. This results in an inherently lower AR (attack rating) compared to AR/RE or pure AR guns. The strain on nano skills is not as high as with the AR/RE combination, though.

3) For a RK gun with decent damage output it has a rather fast FullAuto recycle of about 70-80 seconds, depending on the FullAuto skill.

4) The attack time requires a more aggressive setting on the aggdef-bar. In combination with a crit-setup a full agg setting is probably required. While this is not such a big problem in team situations, it's a downside for soloing.

5) Cold damage cannot be implanted, contrary to energy, fire or radiation (which are used in the usual selection of froobie soldier guns). This add of 35 damage (triple implanted @ QL200) can be partially compensated by a Penumbra Tuaq (http://auno.org/ao/db.php?id=245783), which itself is not that easy to come by nor allows for early use due to the high level requirement of 190+.

6) Crits can compensate for the lack of other specials than FullAuto, and will benefit the FullAuto special itself, too. However, going with high crit scopes may cripple the damage more than it helps, not to talk about the high cost of certain +crit items.

7) Compared to guns like Hellfury and Hellspinner the min. damage is low. In regular RK scenarios this fact is not that much of a problem; but there are raids where you get reduced to min. damage (aside of running into problems with the lower AR). On the plus side is the high range, which is of advantage around heavy nukers.

To sum it up: It's an interesting weapon choice for froobie soldiers, runs with an uncommon damage type for ranged weapons and provides a unique look. If the skills are high enough (especially Full

If the skills are high enough (especially FullAuto), it can be used as a swapping gun to dump out a FullAuto, swap to a different gun and swap back once the FA is ready again. It's not really necessary, as described above by pra02jd, with a decent crit setup the gun is working pretty good on it's own already. Also, it's good to have for situations, where different damage types come in handy, like Biodome raids or killing the Prototype Inferno (for Hellspinner).
