Item Database - NanoCrystal (Nullity Sphere MK II)

NanoCrystal (Nullity Sphere MK II) Icon #42452 Nano Crystal - Warps a region of space around the nanotechnician, creating a molecule-thick region of null space. This sphere of null space stops all damage from reaching the nanotechnician, but is controlled by the nanobot cloud to permit entry of beneficial nano bots. Due to the nature of this sphere, however, the nanotechnician is unable to move whilst the nullity sphere exists.

OK, if the thing has some interrest for U , a friend found it in 192 team mission on a boss loot.
clownss @ 2003-01-15 07:35
Where is the claw camp located can i get the cords for it plz i need to find this item so i can pvp more plz people plz
Xorae @ 2003-01-15 19:14
If you exit trade to the west, and go north over the water, then north-northeast, you'll come to the claw camp. But the drop is very rare, you could spend 10 minutes looking, you could spend 3 weeks like most people... and still not find it.
clownss @ 2003-01-16 03:40
thank you
jakeaway @ 2003-01-22 17:36
It also drops quite regularly from the Polymorphed Lunatic
burningtoe @ 2003-06-21 01:38
where can i find the polymorphed lunatic and how much does ns1 go for?
Corpusdei @ 2003-11-14 04:44
DAV...it's like killing smugglers, as i understand...
Jordan @ 2003-12-20 04:37
And where can i find the polymorphed lunatic?
Gng @ 2004-01-09 15:37
random mobs, somewhat within the QL range
Notumsurrrge @ 2004-03-11 01:11
heard it goes for 120mil nowadays... i really hope that isnt true, cuz i need one :(
estboy @ 2004-04-16 20:03
why???? its pure bullshit, you cant move and it has the same dmg shield like the NS1 does =\ i dont get it :p
YaNightmare @ 2004-04-19 23:33
Saw the ID drop 2day when we were doing borgs, dropped of an commander/general, dont remember ^^ never seen it drop there b4, anyway to bad that loot was on alpha :( i didnt got it *me cry's*
YaNightmare @ 2004-04-19 23:34
EDIT ***

Borgs = Mort (Sentinals)
Triceratroll @ 2004-05-01 16:02
@estboy look at the recharge and u understand ^^
geargrinderx @ 2004-07-08 14:32
Yes. This would be amazing. I have NS1 and it only allows 8 seconds of time when you can cast, and still be protected, and it's amazing. I owe my life to it 1000 times over. Also, anything you can kill with AoEs in that time, you can essentially kill an unlimited number of. My NT could solo 6-7 lvl 80 hecks at 60 at once, and never get a scratch. This one offers 17 seconds >_< I can't wait till I can cast it.
Notumsurrrge @ 2004-08-18 23:49
this is SO much better than NS1... its debateable that NS1 isn't worth shit compared to this. THe recharge is near instant, and you get a lot longer protection time . Saves my life every time during ely hecks when i steal aggro from tanks. If your playing an NT, you NEED THIS NANO. You will suck w/o it.
Evercast @ 2004-10-05 12:40
You need NS of some sort, but IMO NS2 isn't worth the price tag it has. It's sure nice with longer godmode in PvM, but it has practically no use in PvP as it does not block all dmg, it cancels RRFE if you got it running, and of course, it roots you. Using NS in PvP (1on1 or mass) is quite risky. I can understand a high pricetag because it's rather rare, but i'd never pay 150m+ for a semi-broken nano with little practical advantage over NS.

But that's my opinion thou. ;)
Talien @ 2004-10-19 05:45
evercast pls never talk again...ns2 PWNS ns1...last longer and recharge is instant get a lvl 140ish nt with this and u cant touch him in pvp before your dead and in pvm i fu steal agg from tank nice little way to not get hit till they get it back or till you mezz...grr heck noobs need to go away
estboy @ 2004-10-27 20:46
@evercast .. with this nano u cant move but u can still nuke ;)
Evercast @ 2004-10-29 19:10
I know perfectly well how the Nullity Line works.

@ Talien: NS2 is better than NS, that's pretty obvious. But since NT's got detaunt perk, loosing aggro isn't that much of a deal if you are using decknukes. If you are using Resonance Blast, getting aggro in the first place isn't that easy either. And are you calling me a heckler noob? Give me a break...

@Talien & estboy: Yes, you can nuke while NS is up. There's nothing in what i've posted above the declares other. What i commented was it's market value. What i meant as how usable the NS is in PvP, is that it's a gamble. Since it roots you, you need to have your target within range, and people much instabreaks Burden of Atlas today with stims & perks. And there is the problem with the Hold NT's at bay ring wich adds 500 NR, a Shade with perks in Nano Repulsor & the HHaB ring can just wait until NS drops and then do the perk ballet on you.

Or you get lucky and you get to fry someone up withing 3 nukes. As a said, using NS in PvP is a gamble. But imo it's not worth the price it has today, even if it's damn rare.
rorafelidae @ 2004-12-02 16:15
I agree it's not worth the price, and my NT won't be getting it until I happen to find it somewhere. She's done just fine without to, so I'm not really worried about not having it at this point.
KnightofNI @ 2005-01-12 14:32
As sad as it is, this is a the very best defense nano a broken profession like ours was given. It's less effective than a good biococoon or soldier shield (and less expensive if not free...), but still, I wouldn't dream of playing my NT further than its level 160 without this uploaded. Our UBAH nano is like our whole profession: even if we know it's flawed, we use it.
KnightofNI @ 2005-01-12 14:34
@edit: (and less expensive if not free...) ==> (which are less expensive if not free) ^^
Datagutt @ 2005-06-07 14:51
wtf 100 dmg reflected the ql 90 reflects 100 too
Hellslayer @ 2005-06-15 18:57
look @ the time:P this one is 19 sec the ql 90 "only" 14
Stern @ 2005-06-19 23:12
@Datagutt -- Actually, it doesn't reflect at all. It may look like it reflects but it doesn't vs. Mobs or Players. All it does is cancel any attacks incoming that are weapon/melee attacks. They just stand there staring at you in attack mode doing nothing.
BTW DoT's will land through NS(2) as will any debuff.
Evercast @ 2005-07-09 18:30
I belive that reflected dmg passes thru the Nullity Spehere as well. What a usefull nano...
triggerzer0 @ 2005-07-29 10:58
lol, dont be surprised. reflected damage passes through uber evade fixer/shade/ma/agents, and TMS, what makes you think NS will block it?
Fluke @ 2005-07-31 18:38
The fact that you are able to whine about that Evercast, make me laugh.
This nano is great for its use if you tend to like surviving after getting aggro.
Tumy @ 2005-09-01 18:21
I agree with your comment Evercast and want's to add that for me NT are not tankers! (AoE, calms, kites, they have there way to help teams)
NS= 35M for 8 second protection worth => 4,3M/sec :o
NSII 125M 17 second Protection worth => 7.3M/ sec :S
Damn 9M/sec difference between NS and NSII ?!? Can't find any smiley for that sry!
Tumy @ 2005-09-01 18:24
Sry it's not 9M but 10M diference: 125-35/9secs=10
For a Nanobreed i wasn't that much intelligent this time, lol!
Nukej00 @ 2005-10-17 06:07
You guys are slow in the brain, if you don't play an NT stop posting about things you don't know about, NS2 is the best nano NTs have for PvP... We don't take any damage from your alpha and have 20 seconds to cast our nukes away. So let's see, I nuke 2/1 so that makes ~10 nukes when I have NS2 up and my nukes hit for 1.5-2k per hit in pvp so that's 15k-20k while I take no damage... So shh.
mardonge @ 2005-10-19 17:07
@Nukej00 - Wanna try that theory against a doc? Since DoT's/debuffs land through NS, I'd belive you have a problem... Init debuff -1452... triple dots... You'd have a hard time casting those uber-nuks in time...
triggerzer0 @ 2005-10-30 09:05
if you can land them... NTs like to play at full deff, and have the best NR of most proffs
Evercast @ 2005-11-04 22:09
NT's dosen't run decknukes at full def until the end of the lvl range when they get enough nano init. A 10 sec cast + full def penalty with IU while NS2 is up? You ain't firing of 10 of those while inside the bubble.
korvaoo @ 2005-12-14 19:27
i got that from lvl 131 or 132 mish, nice bonus to my credits :)
Jeckhyl @ 2005-12-16 02:48
At least.... you can add: a NT may have to cast NS2 because he is targetted by several opponents in PvP and doesn't wanna die.
NS2, clic on SL Warp or Warp Perk, /wave :).
Voriuste @ 2006-03-07 01:37
Heh, thats a fixer trick! *mutters something about pansy fixers*
malewerecat @ 2006-03-28 03:29
Engineer nano (Null space disruptor) cancels half of this.
Awaren @ 2006-06-12 06:00
NERF!
228 nano cost?
So you cast this, cast your attacks, then when time is almost up, cast it again, then again, then again, then again... so how much nano pool a NT has? 15k? 20k? so you can keep yourself about 5 minutes invulnerable then use a teleporter perk or nano teleporter and bye bye. or do I miss something?
Awaren @ 2006-06-12 06:01
never mind, I just saw the negative feedback
aminenf @ 2006-08-23 18:56
Agents can use this in mimic too, by the time this is up the agent could have his/her target dead, or near it, with alpha.
Liquix @ 2006-11-29 08:53
This is nice for PvP twinks. Im gonna use it on my level 75 twink to get 19 additional seconds to kill opponents on in PvP. You will need this + Absorbation layers. If you have a Nice nano pool and are a low HP twink you can do this: Attack untill MKII goes out, if(I said IF) targets even manage to hit you before you can recast it, you renew the layers after opening MKII. Make sure to have high evades, I wouldnt care about upgrading the Duck skill, if a trader arrives, ur dead anyway
Shadow.ik @ 2007-02-12 17:22
mmm This is useless after LE came ;/
Yakobo66 @ 2007-03-10 19:53
... useless my ass, only useless if pvping another NT
Klodovik @ 2007-03-24 01:18
Sinse everyone and his mother is using triples theese days... Yes, it's useless. ;)
Xyphos @ 2007-05-01 19:41
@ Klodovik; tripple is an NT only nano.
As Yakobo said, it's only useless against another NT.
Everyone and their mother isn't an NT.
In fact, most ppl I've PvP'd in BS were FIXERS.
Anim @ 2007-05-14 10:39
To Xyphos, I think he actually meant the fact that it blocks out the use of triples :P
Using NSII = no triples, using triples = no NSII.
So yes the useful(less)ness of NSII has changed in PvP if you're planning on using LE nukes.
Yakobo66 @ 2007-07-08 21:21
I also meant not in PVP ;) in PVM if your happily chrning away aggro-happy nukes on a mob and you get aggro you use this and your squishy nt ass is saved
Dilomax @ 2008-02-07 01:50
lol doesnt seem as good for pvp now that doubles/tripples are around.. would suck for another NT t o find you rooted.....
pollu @ 2008-03-17 13:52
What s the current price for it?
Krisplin @ 2008-03-18 17:07
according to kimi's it goes for anything between 35m to 150m with an average at about 80m. time to farm some more pump master/traineee
pumpkinguy @ 2009-03-29 18:19
Wait wait wait... Cant you just find a shitload of mobs, pull them all, cast this, nuke for the 16 seconds, run like a little bitch (maybe nuking a bit) for a minute, repeat? That would be the epic way for an NT to kite.
Pheros @ 2009-06-05 17:31
once NSs is off and all mobs around you will kill u instantly, you wouldn´t come far
Magrichian @ 2009-06-16 14:19
Got it on my agent :P
ilhan @ 2010-10-09 20:40
Well nowdays its a really great tool after Detonation Matrix. Its really one of the most expensive nano programs there is for a NT to have , but totally a must in my opinion. In pvm its simply a bless (using triple/double in pvm is not worth it anyway is it?) IU/DM owns them in DPS totally and + you get 19s immortability per minute which when used in the right time saves you some time until your AR debuffs perks and optical plague gets ready up for use (maybe NM absorb too?). I gotta agree though the root is a bit tricky but it ain't that bad as you might think. I also have seen (and did my self) NTs pwn even docs with NSII and IU/DM (yes ! its true zomg). You can cap IU nowdays also under full def so it aint a big problem , and if UBT lands before simply go full agg and do flim focus (why not you dont get any damage). Also you can't predict when a NT did NSII or NBG (well you can but its hard to manage in fight) or none at all? does he have maybe Wealth up or Nanobot Shelter? Belive me all will waist their alpha in it which makes nbg less work. Also it stacks with NBG which means you can have both up (why?) you can tank a NT/enfo (offensive NT aka triple/double). You tank NT with NBG and enf gets blocked by NSII so he even doesen't get close to eating your nano pool. Totally a must have for any serious NT.
AO_TON @ 2011-07-12 01:21
I found one of these on a lvl 170 team mission boss i soloed last week ;D
Rdelaney14 @ 2011-08-12 03:13
This is a very popular nano in movies. Chuck Norris, Blackie Chan, Neo, Master Chief, and God all use it, not to mention hundreds others.
jessiejo3 @ 2013-02-11 06:30
Pfft, I used to sell this for about 180m two years ago. Now it goes for the same as ICRT, 750m. Goodluck finding it. And NO the Poly Lunatic doesn't drop it. ;)
Briandmg @ 2013-03-29 15:13
I don't get it. With triples/doubles, do sloobs even use these nowadays? Why would the price skyrocket all of a sudden?
jokeUsa @ 2013-11-02 13:27
Cause it grants immunity to anything else? The prices are retarded nowadays tho, 1.5+b~
