The 'Goodgun' appears in the restored 'Haiden Cylinders', found in excavations on the planet of War. The cylinders are remains of holographic, animated shows that used to be displayed in public on the planet of Motherworld. Almost complete, They show extracts from the life of the fictitious character Jack Haiden, a criminal who reached the position of kingpin in Sidnee - the metropolis of Motherworld at the time - and lost that position to George, his old lover.
