The difference is that from the Marcus Divaad Cloak the wave flows evenly upwards instead of in all directions with equal strength. This is more safe, as you have more control of where ricochets end. Also less physical balance is required, but instead you need far more power of concentration. Marcus Divaad has no proven relationship with Divaad from the legends.
