assault rifle 67% , smg 33% it is dependant on smg n AR which is not good.. since soldiers invest in AR , u wont get full potential of ur IP spent

Slower than the EN-RAL in rech, but with the fastest burst and fa cycles in the game, so it's a bit of a trade-off. Does comparable damage to the Div9, but slower. AR req. dominates the smg req., so yes you'll have a lower att than with a standard ar unless you keep your smg up, and there are nanos to help narrow the gap. Div9 req. ranged energy and ar, so the situation is really about the same.

This gun has rather slow special recycles thanks to the 2.5 sec Recharge timer, which adds ~50 secs to Burst and ~100 secs to FA by itself already. The Attack time makes your Flingshot slowpokish, too. On a Div9 you can cap the Burst speed at higher levels.
Secondly, SMG is problematic in a few areas (lower default skill compared to AR, no mastery, ...), and in combination with AR you are only able to get the faded SMG cluster into your setup, which emphasizes the problem even more. Contrary to that RE is at about the same level as AR, has a mastery buff and can be triple implanted together with tripled AR; it impacts your nanoskill clusters much more than AR+SMG, though. So, the situation is maybe related in that they both use two weaponskills, but other than that there are big differences.
In the end the setup and the Attack Rating in combination with the mobs you are fighting will dictate the total result of how powerful this gun is (it can be from the looks of it); personally I wouldn't use it in a regular manner.

a good gun at any ql for a froob. use it with lots of +damage to boost the low minimum damage and to cap 13k FA. If youre some froob "pvp-pro" you can swap this with a Supernova to get off a maximum gank-alpha (you can use Supernova's aimedshot while the swap timer is running- 5 seconds total)

I don't get why anyone would want to use a CHS for hotswapping a FA off, rather than a spastic assault rifle. There are so many disadvantages attached to this gun. 1) Lower minimum damage. 2) MUCH longer recharge time. 3) Longer equip time = Slower swapping. 4) Split AR
Perhaps the only advantage is lower requirements overall? Then again, that 500 in SMG requirement is a huge no-go for me.

spastic is soldier only, for one
1 second on swap time isnt a factor when you swap this weapon ON at the start of a fight
this gun has flingshot
but mainly, this is not a profession locked gun. so thats why anyone would want to use this over spastic, because spastic is profession locked.
