riverine @ 2005-09-15 13:39
o yeah . and then during the battle u only keep draining the target just to make the shotgun effective...
|
Jeff120 @ 2005-09-21 01:08

riverine is right...with those 2 drain lines u can twink as hell...170 + 178 +131(from another trader) hmmm yeap...sounds good.. but the bad thing is that the OE weps are a pain in the ass.. yes u must keep draining just too make it effective.. if not. then why did u twinked the damn weapon.

oh.. boy no comment on that

enfoz @ 2005-11-14 11:32
lol its no problem when you need to keep draining.. when you've casted 1 or 2 drains on a twink .. their weapon goes to 75% hehe..also it has quite a big recharge time so you can shoot between the casting of the nano's..
Traders r teh pwnz0r xD
|
Mallor @ 2005-11-16 16:54
lol ...you basically drain -620 attack skill from a mob....with both drains....thats insane
|
12lettername @ 2005-12-07 03:32
I've got a low level trader, been doing endless missions, and I drain every mob with both drains anyways, because if I don't, I DIE.
|
dzdaddy @ 2005-12-14 14:56
as an agent, can you false profession to trader, use the divest and plunder flavors of drain nanos to boost your nanoskills, then false profession to MP and run the highest mocham/infuse/mastery your new nanoskills will allow, all the while fighting off the incensed MOB(s) that you drained? just wondering whether these nanos might be a viable way to allow a low level agent to buff a low level engie into range for a much bigger 'bot.
|
Kplayona @ 2006-01-19 02:20
dzdaddy u can but u should buff up with the longest lasting nano because those drains last way less so when u cast CI or Mochie while ur FPing as a MP use Mochie then turn into Trader and at that last 10 seconds before turning into a Agent start draining and that should work ;)

Moniker @ 2006-01-22 09:41
Best thing about drains is that you can ladder drain. Cast a ransack, then the next up divest, then the next up ransack, and so on, Seems ya can usually get about 4-5 levels higher than normal, and ya just have to recast the highest ones periodically to keep your uber high ql weapon effective.

Is this news, that traders are great at twinking?! ;P
|
Msauss @ 2006-03-12 11:48
if this works in PVP, I feel sorri for the poor NTs, docs and other people that need the nano skills :)
|
Xsonic @ 2006-05-08 03:55
trader vs trader.. who wins... the first one to debuff..

This is y I auto reject all trader duel requests. And you complain that if you don't drain you are useless. I agree with that, but to me that means the trader profession is in need of a revamp. some new tools and some major drain nerfage (if only in PvP)
I even refused to make my own trader for the whole 5+ years I've been playing, I'm afraid I'll hate myself ;)

Just for the record i saw a comment about laddering drains saying cast a ransack then a divest. NOOOO!!! ALWAYS AND I MEAN ALWAYS CAST Divest first!! Why? Divest 100% NR check, Ransack 190% NR check. If you cast divest first you'll have better offense and a better chance at landing that ransack drain!!!
