Nope, you stun the target and yourself.....I think the idea being if you were to 'bear hug' someone you too would be unable to do anything else whilst having hold of your victim. The advantage is that in a team the others are free to attack and do whatever whilst they are stunned, and also this particular attack stuns the user for 5secs and the target for 8secs so you do actually get a few seconds spare to your advantage.

A nice tool when hunting with others, stops you from doing pretty much anything except a few specials between the stuns though. Pretty much impossible to land on evade classes but very nice for soldiers, doctors, engineers, some enforcers. Most of the other classes can muster enough evades if set up right to evade it. The attack skill to land it is strength +addalloff, so crats actually have the best chance of anyone to land it and with pets to hurt your target while you are stunned it seems pretty sweet.

For big troxs using this, the evade should be "Duck Explosion"

This is nice specially doing missions at Penumbra shadowlands I never miss one hit with this perk very very very useful especialy who is tanking and cvan't tank no more and needs to be heal... or the doc needs nano to be recharge hmm this is great in team... give 12 out of 10

Hmm i can see these stuns being great for ranged users... fire off alpha then chain stun untill AS/FA/burst come back then do it again :) Personally i only found this perk useful to stun healing profs in BS so others can gank easy, or those situations where if i didnt use this i'd be sat at reclaim saying, damn! if only i lived 5 sec longer, i would have won!

Has any one tried using this on an MA coupled with there mez/root/snare/calm resistances? not getting mezed by this yourself while your opponent is... so friggen uber
