It's uber because it has a huge range of 35m, and locks the Riposte skill so you can keep using other MA attacks like stuns. It also unroots/unsnares you and gives you a huge boost to NR. Since MAs are perhaps the best class for fighting at full def the NR is doubly effective.

Except fixers. Generally their add all defense outweighs the average MA's riposte skill.
Still a crucial tool to have.

Also, if someone is running away from you it can be useful to activate and pray for stun, even if it doesn't stun em it still slows em down abit :p

^ SO true... it's like all great ma attacks, it just turns the table... not only does it break the root/snare but it gives you the runspeed/snare to catch up to whoever's kiting you
