mission only?
Applesauce @ 2004-07-08 17:46
Um, I may be misled, but.... if the thing says that it heals your bot how come in the Reqs on this page say "Target Breed == Human" instead of "Target Breed == Robot" or similar?
Lleets @ 2004-07-09 15:59
your absolutely........ incorrect! target breed == human means human monster, meaning created by a player... target breed == monster would be an npc... got it? good? any questions? /tell lleets

The only viable healing an Engineer gets, the robot healing line of nanos is not optional. An unfortunate circumstance is having to put points into Biological Meta (which is blue for a Soli Eng), however, this line of nanos is in many cases the only way you can solo difficult high level monsters or uniques/bosses.

The most effective tactic, thus, is to deny the monster line of sight because as any doctor will tell you, casting a healing spell is like casting a taunt 100000. Let the monster engage your bot, then look to positition yourself behind a wall, pillar, or any other handy terrain feature that denies the monster the ability to see you, while allowing you to see your bot. Then spam away, and cycle heals by sitting and using your Nano Recharge Kit and First Aid Nano stims. The monster, unable to see you, will not engage. If you need to herd the monster to a better position, order the bot to follow and move your bot to the position it wants, then order it to attack the monster again and get into position.

Do not recommend attempting to use this in DEF mode (at least unless you have something that greatly increases nanoc init), simply because it takes immensely long to cast in that mode.

This line of nanos is rather mana intensive, so you really need to be able to cycle heals with nano recharge kits to be effective.

PS - Three things to note:

1. The two normal healing spells that you can get from the General Crystal shop also works on bots, albeit not as efficiently as this line of nanos.

2. These nanos don't appear to be available in stores, but can be rolled as mission reward (that can be a problem without Clicksaver as they are fairly rare).

3. This line of spells has much more bang for your buck as you go up the tree, so get new lines of these spells as fast as possible. For example, patchy repairs heals 243-412 for 224 mana, recondition parts heals 398-611 for only 301 mana! Almost a double heal for a little bit more mana. The only downside is a slightly increased casting time, but this is negligable.

OK, Please tell me what you put the mission things on to get this nano? Like Hard or easy? money or xp? phys or myst? open or hidden? I really need to know. With each growing lvl, it gets harder and harder to heal my bot's hp. Please tell me if you can, Thanks

its a philopshhy, can u figure it out?

It doesn't necessarily matter where you put the sliders except the easy/hard one. I would just leave the others in the middle. The one thing you need to make sure of when clicksaving this nano is the QL of the mission. Now to clicksave a nano, the QL of the mission doesn't have to be exactly the same as the QL of the nano. I believe i read that you can roll a nano as mish reward if it's within +/-10 of the QL of the mission, so just get the QL of the mission as close as you can to the QL of the nano you want. If you already know this, then it's like Hamburglar said, just a rare nano.

found this once as a low level mission reward and as the target of a 'find item' mission(within 1- minutes of eachother, was lvl20-ish at the time). but honestly its not worth the IP into BM. when a pet isnt fighting its regen is fast anyways so spam the general healing nanos. maybe when you are lvl 200/220 and you have 70 in BM withought any IP...
