Item Database - Mirror Mask of Ljotur

Mirror Mask of Ljotur Icon #86483 Once upon a time there was a proud and swift individual called Ljotur who lived all over the dehydrated pebble, and many men, women and creatures from the origin of the world visited him to make him shut up and live a life of crumbled paper and sleep, but he had a mind of his own and he had a mask of mirrors and madness and he fooled them all - and one by one he uncovered the secrets, but for each secret he lost a bit of his heart and he turned into a dry sponge and when the hollow devils came he could not recogize them and they tricked him and their shadow fingers made scars in his mind and hid the knowlede for him - except for the knowledge of this - so Ljotur still searches, but now he searches inside himself.

poor Ljotur...
Nagant @ 2003-08-19 18:34
*sniffle* Poor baby =(

Anyway, the Primus skinchips can be worn with GA and are a lot better, more balanced ACs and no debuffs.
Gng @ 2003-09-24 08:14
but they hardly look as good :)
Talan @ 2004-09-26 14:19

Sypiken @ 2004-11-10 10:06
The cyberdeck 4 req is bullshit =P
woldsom @ 2004-12-02 06:05
Cyberdeck 4 means "not wearing grid armor" afaik...
zyx21 @ 2005-02-12 07:32
yup.
Ludozee @ 2005-04-15 10:21
What level/how many teams do you need to take down Ljotur?
DJLost03 @ 2005-04-29 19:02
He's soloable from 160+ depending on your prof/equipment/skill. Just watch out for the Leets.
A 180+ Crat (imho) has the best chance against the leets (area mezz)
Im prolly smoking crack on that one, but its my opinion.
zyx22 @ 2005-05-02 05:08
This armor is very logical.
lbj @ 2005-11-11 18:38
Ffs... I was going to say; Soloable from 160 ? dream on :)

What he means is that lojtur summons 5 lvl 210 leets which have a fun time demonstrating how leets dont just kill newbies. and yes, he is right that a crat who could mez/charm (if very lucky) the leets would have the best chance. And for a non-nanomage nanoclass (doc/trader/nt/crat) that couldnt use shades of lucubration, these wouldnt be bad for the extra nano/hp
Moniker @ 2006-01-25 01:41

josh3353 @ 2008-06-07 18:33
full set of this + GA4 = ubar :P
ruah @ 2010-02-10 13:08
All ljotur armor is wearable with grid armor, you simply need to remove one of the ljotur pieces before trying to load the ga4 to ur back
Vabla2 @ 2010-09-03 07:21
I wonder if anyone actually pays any attention to all the wonderful item descriptions in AO. More than half of the story is scattered on the tiny bits you find lying around that you ignore just because they aren't a piece of some uber gear (most of which ironically has absolutely no story to it).
