value in this sense refers to the base shop value that this item holds, not the current player market value. if you sold this to a store you'd get at least 1500 for it, more with computer literacy skill acting as some kind of multiplier.

that's wrong, angry. Value does not define the min price for an item. it is always much higher than the real price you would get at a shop term. but it is a base value for the calculation that is done to determine the correct price. (8M creds for ql200 pearls..yay :p)
