Honestly, I cannot see how this one is good. Medicore AC, and low mods. The Medium is a bit better though.

Lsnake all the reasons you said are why this is easier to get. Some people cant camp mobs all day long (have lives/jobs). so when this drops and they have the opportunity to get it, they do cause it is beter then an alby tank. And i would bet some people probally like the look and a few points wont make that much differance.
