Zerogates, you are just plain wrong and I�m surprised your misinformation lasted uncorrected for 4 years. Newbies posting false info is totally annoying. If you are in doubt, put on a melee weapon, open your AC stats and equip a low level advy shield, hit it and watch your melee and projectile ACs go up. Also, if it matters you do not need this equipped (it works like flurry of blows) which is good considering that there are 7 types of them and only 3 slots that hold �em. My lvl 25 melee advy uses a ql 45, which adds 1043 to melee/proj AC for about 23 secs. In PvP that matters especially against weapons like a pump master 1-330(130) proj, or even a battlerod 75-330(30) melee. In PvM you can usually reduce a RK mob to min damage w. just regular armor assuming it�s not way higher than you, so IDK if this matters there. For an advy Parry is pretty cheap in terms of IP� No reason not to use this if you are a melee advy.
