Any point in using one of these as a froob MA, on level 160ish? I mean, will this be better then using fists only?

If you can get these on they are worth it for fast dd. Worth using for a froob if you want more dd, but since they are bringing back parry better to use 2 ql200 lotus parry sticks if your a froob. If not the shen sticks all the way.

These are great at low levels (when MA's get weak fist damage). It allows them to overbuff weapons like every other class. A lvl 15 MA with ql 50 implants (custom made for the piercing) can get a pair of these on around ql 50ish and not be OE. That can give you 3 attack bars at nearly 1/1 speed at max aggro for 42 hits per minute (14 unarmed, 14 of each weapon).
At higher levels, it does give you an extra attack bar wielding just 1. The tradeoff is instead of doing 30 fist attacks at 1/1 (with high crits), you swap to 18 fist + 18 weapon. If the 18 weapon hits are more than 12 fist hits, you have gained overall damage per minute. Keep that in mind. Parry sticks are slow and require 675 and full aggro to go 1/1 with only a slightly higher damage benefit. Claws let you go much more defensive, but offer less buffs. Having been a stick user for many years, I have recently preferred the claws for their shear speed (and can be bought by expansion friends in all SL gardens up to ql 150 for froobs)

Equipped 2x on a lvl 112 MA (no AI armor, just buffs and SL-able stuff). Works great, critting for about 1900 in SL (and 2600 off of fist), very easy to get aggro off of enforcers if you arent careful.

The sheer Number of Hits on Dual and Triplewield is also helping to keep the Dmg and Critproc running .
Besides that every pice of add-dmg counts for a bit more if you do more hits/min .
